February 21, 201312 yr This is a case of narrative reality, just because says something it doesn't mean it is true, if that person refuses to believe them its their choice, they shouldn't be criticized for it either... from previous experience Grogall has been on the money, it does not mean I will believe it every time, just most of the time.
February 21, 201312 yr Well this year I was really hopeing for a Wat Tambor minifigure, but to b compleatly honest I don't think we will ever see him :(
February 21, 201312 yr Flicking through the last couple of pages, I have noticed a hell of a lot of speculation about the rumoured Ewok Village, which I had thought was official a while ago before it was revealed as speculation. Has this Ewok Village been confirmed this time or is it all speculation again? I apologise if I have missed any form of confirmation; it's hard to notice one when almost every post is about what people want in the Ewok Village.
February 21, 201312 yr I wouldn't use the word 'confirmed' as such, but having said that I think there is a vey good chase of getting the set as multiple websites have said that it is coming out. I can't remember any of the websites of the top of my head (except there was something on hoth bricks a couple of days ago) but other than that you are going to have to flick a couple of pages back to see the other websites. February 21, 201312 yr An Ewok village COULD be amazing even as a display set but would require far too many pieces i guess, so in all likelihood, a playset it shall be hmm
February 21, 201312 yr Well I do think the ewok village will be a playset just like the Death Star because it has been a long time since a playset UCS.
February 21, 201312 yr With the making of the Mandolorian Speeder with Darth Maul with his chickenlegs, Lego also opened the door for a great Sy Snootles. Especially since there's gonna be a Max Rebo figure (btw i just read in this blog that Max Rebo only had legs and no hands?!) in the Sail Barge the need for Sy Snootles and Droopy McCool is evident.
February 21, 201312 yr Any form of speculation is info without proof, of which this thread is all about. So please refrain in future from telling people to not do what this thread is all about. Actually this thread is for real info about real possible sets not speculation
February 21, 201312 yr Speculation normally stems from something, ie someone who has previously proved to be correct in the past therefore proving to me to have a good enough reliability that they are *probably* more than 50% chance of being correct, providing the info as being the assumption required for me to take the rumour seriously. As it is, this thread is for pictures and rumours, with the final aim of achieving the real info. What is the point of making a thread for pics and rumours if only real info is allowed? If we want only real info then wait until something gets released for sale as NOTHING is guaranteed until it is released for sale. Rumours can contain a mixture of truth and untruth, gossip and hearsay. Therefore what has been said about it fits perfectly into this category, so if you feel like correcting me, please do it correctly to avoid misunderstandings. *edit* how can you even get real info about 'possible' real sets? That contradicts itself. Either a set is real, or it isnt, if you want real info. You wont *know* what set could be possible until official confirmation from lego by which point rumours are redundant, and so would this entire thread be too. February 21, 201312 yr ^ you sir fail to read my posts properly and understand them properly so I won't waste more time on explaining things to you because you refuse to understand!
February 21, 201312 yr As per the thread title alll the way up there ^ 'Lego Star Wars 2013 Pictures and Rumours' The clues are there ^^^^^ Now back on topic!
February 21, 201312 yr What about the force ghosts, after all we are getting a translucent blue arm so I don't see why not make a translucent whole minifigure, it does need to be all three force ghosts though. The issue with that is and has always been that transparent parts have WAY more friction against each other than against standard parts. And that could pose a problem with the high-stress connection between, say, minifig arms and torsos. The transparent arm is a step in the right direction, but it in no way means a fully transparent minifig has surely become feasible. Now, it's possible that a partially transparent minifig could be made, but would that really work for a force ghost? I can't help but wonder. Part of me thinks that if the whole thing can't be transparent, having it completely opaque may be preferable; perhaps something akin to NRG Zane from Ninjago.

I think the two arms, two legs and head being transparent with the rest a light shade of blue may create a good looking force ghosts.
February 21, 201312 yr I think the two arms, two legs and head being transparent with the rest a light shade of blue may create a good looking force ghosts. Well I think you are absolutely correct, however I think that the head will not be transparent but the hair would. Edited February 21, 201312 yr by Legoman123
February 21, 201312 yr I think, if LEGO do make a force ghost, they will do transparent arms, legs and hair with a NRG Jay-like head and body.
February 21, 201312 yr Ok so lets actually think what will the Ewok village have in it ? Personally i think there will be a fire with Darth Vader on it, two or three small huts with a little bed and and fire in it, a couple of rope bridges and a huge platform, a couple of little catapults in the trees with little rope ladders going up to them and obviously one huge tree with the platform on, or three smaller trees with the platform in the middle of the three trees. On to the mini figures, i think we will get Luke, Han, Lando, leia, C-3PO, 2 or 3 ewoks, all three force ghost, R2-D2 and maybie a couple of rebel soldiers. Edited February 21, 201312 yr by Legoman123
February 21, 201312 yr I think it will be one large tree and two smaller trees. Maybe a rope bridge between the smaller trees. A platform on the larger tree and an interior, maybe catapults on the smaller trees. Minifigs: Endor Leia, Endor Han, Endor Luke, C-3P0 and 3 Ewoks (Wicket, Teebo and Logray)
February 21, 201312 yr I'm thinking that there will be 3 large trees with a big platform and 2 huts. A net to launch below and trap the heroes. Also will include the throne upon which Threepio sits, fire pits for roasting Luke and Han. Minifigs: Luke with Parka, Han with coat, Leia WITH CMF FOREST MAIDEN HAIR, Artoo, Threepio, Chewwie, 3 adult Ewoks, 1 baby Ewok.
February 21, 201312 yr Well I do think the ewok village will be a playset just like the Death Star because it has been a long time since a playset UCS. We have never had a UCS Playset, they are all ships.
February 21, 201312 yr We have never had a UCS Playset, they are all ships. All I'm saying is that there was a lot of play features in te set.
February 21, 201312 yr Well I think you are absolutely correct, however I think that the head will not be transparent but the hair would. I initially thought the same thing, but I couldn't help but think it would be a bit more balanced color wise for the head to be transparent (Visually to me it looks cleaner to break up the color a little, plus with the neck part of the torso being solid it would make the face print on the head pop a little more). Plus I think the hair being transparent might be a bit fragile (Plus we've seen them do transparent heads before, so we know it can be done). Either way a mix of transparent and solid parts could be done, so I feel its only a matter of time before we get something.
February 21, 201312 yr ^ you sir fail to read my posts properly and understand them properly so I won't waste more time on explaining things to you because you refuse to understand! Wow, really? It's hard to understand posts such as yours that don't follow rules of grammar, punctuation, proper capitalization and sentence structure. Maybe if you did, other members would have an easier time understanding the meaning behind your posts. It shouldn't be a challenge for anyone to understand.

The problem is trans clear cannot be connected to or touching trans clear in order to form a moving joint. There are also some stress related problems that make some parts more prone to develop cracks in trans clear. The big one is the minifig bodies will develop spiderweb stress cracks under the arms.

Ok so if this is the case make the arms transparent but not the hands, make the legs transparent and make the head transparent that way no transparent piece will be connected to another transparent piece. Ok so if this is the case make the arms transparent but not the hands, make the legs transparent and make the head transparent that way no transparent piece will be connected to another transparent piece. I also think that the yoda force ghost would have an aqua head as it would be hard to make a moulded translucant piece. Edited February 21, 201312 yr by Legoman123
