Guys, Dexter will probably need a new mold. Pong Krell's was made to be like his clothes. The head would work, but his upper torso would have to be different.

Not to mention that they have different facial hair. Dexter has a moustache where Krell has a beard. The Krell mould has his beard slightly raised so, just on that point they would need a new mould.

Thank you very much for the information, the links and the pictures! :classic:

I've got mixed feelings about Jabba's Sail Barge. :sceptic:

From the outside Jabba's Sail Barge does look great and the new minifigs are awesome!

But the interior of the barge is really more than disappointing since there is - apart from the organ and the carpet for Jabba and the canon - none. I would have prefered to pay ten or twenty Euros more, but then get at least some interior like in the older version of it. Plus the size is - compared to the latest version of the Desert Skiff - possible really too little.

An Ewok Village would be great! And if it was about 250 Euros, it would even be descent. So I could well imagine that it'll inclued:

-AT-ST

-Ewok's trap

-speeder bike

-C-3PO

-Ewok Village Leia (long hair)

-Han with camounflaged outfit

-Luke with camounflaged outfit

-Ewok chief

-one Ewok

-another Ewok

-Scout Trooper

-AT-ST Driver

-Stormtrooper

-three huge, brick-built trees with some "tree houses" and plank bridges between, some catapults and traps

What do you think?

If you think that that's it for the interior of the sail barge you are wrong, just watch the brickshow and they open it all. :)

Yup, there's a jail cell too. It pretty much has just as much stuff inside as last time, if not a tiny bit more.

I agree Besalisks may have moustaches, but Pong Krell does not have a beard.

I think an Ewok village probably shouldn't include any Imperial vehicles, maybe just one or two scout troopers. And it should have C-3P0.

Yes, I hope the Solo rumor is false. We already got a Celebration Han as well as a "young" Han, as special figures. Enough Han, please...

To be exact: We already have every conceivable version of Han that appeared in the movies.

Really. We have multiple Hans in blue or brown pants, Han with his medal, in the blue Bespin jacket, in his cold weather gear, only in a shirt, only in a shirt with closed eyes, the carbonite block and many of them in several styles. The only version missing is Endor trenchcoat Han who only walked out of the stolen Lambda shuttle, tripped on a branch, had a fistfight with a Scout trooper and hid behind a few trees. It´s not really necessary and it could only look bad since LEGO can´t print the backs of legs.

The only real update Han could use were a new hairpiece but looking at the track record of all the other promo-figs they have to use existing molds which means either the rumor is total bonkers or we get trenchcoat Han.

I don´t expect anything useful. Probably something like the Shadow ARF. A soldier in a differently colored armor that never appeared in any show, movie or game. The best that could happen IMO is when they give out the shirtless Maul from last year.

Ewok village should be the celebration party at the end of the movie, so no imperial things except for extra helmets as drums. As for the figures: the main heroes, Wedge, a Mon Cal other than Ackbar, force ghosts and a few Ewoks that we haven´t got already. Maybe even an Ewok baby in form of a printed microfigure. The set should really have a better design than the last playsets LEGO released. I want something along the lines of the Modular Houses or the medieval market, not the Hoth Echo bases, Rancor pit and all the superhero sets that aren´t helicopters.

Doesn't the AT-TE look smaller and more "blocky" than the two previous ones or is it just a misleading thought?

It looks bigger IMO. A few less parts on the legs but the cockpit and big gun on the top are bigger than last time.

It looks almost exactly the same to the previous Clone Wars version to me, except that the Mass-Driver Cannon has been remodeled to give it a more bulkier look, and a few flat bricks have been added to the sides to give it a bit more sleek appearance.

So what about a white, chrome or shadow Han? Haha. Or a Han Trooper...

(I'm not interested in whatever we're getting anyway, not a Han Solo minifig at least.)

I'm hoping that whatever the special May 4th minifigure for Star Wars isn't another Han as the last one was released in 75003 from ROTJ. So I'm hoping for another Astromech Droid to be released which are tons that haven't been made yet by TLG

Thank you very much for this hint, Legoman123! :classic:

I did conclude from only what I had seen on the pics from the NY Toy Fair and didn't know about the Brick Show video. So I have to correct myself:

The new Jabba's Sail Barge is really amazing! :oh: :oh: :oh:

The exterior design as well as the interior are great and the new minifigs are stunning! The price is ok.

As for the Ewok Village:

Since it'll be an Exclusive, there hasn't to be as much action stuff included like in regular sets since the target audience is there TFOLs and AFOLs and not JFOLs. Nevertheless - when you look at past System scale Exclusives - there will be some action elements included. So the celebration scene is imo exluded. I more think that the set is placed in the phase between when Han and Luke get caught by the Ewoks and the scene where Luke leaves to go to the Imperials.

I would say you are right. The side armour panels are parallel to each other whereas on previous versions they were widest in the middle tapering in as they got to the front and rear. I feel the cannon on top and the cockpit give the impression it is bigger but i dont believe it is at all.

C-3PO in an Ewok Village set would be a must - he does not get enough LEGO love! (Did you know there are no C-3PO minifigures from the prequels? Not even III, when he is gold!). We haven't gotten a second set with the newest version (from 2012's Droid Escape) yet, it seems odd that they would remake a central figure then ignore him for a while.

I was already disappointed that he isn't appearing in the Sail Barge - with all the built-in connectivity that LEGO has been doing with Jabba's Palace, Rancor Pit, Desert Skiff and the Sail Barge, especially in terms of not doubling up on the main characters, allowing you to combine them all into one collective scene, C-3PO is the only important character we are missing! I would have liked a 3PO with a special "slimy" print on him, from when is knocked over in the palace. Instead, we are getting boring Ree-Yees... a boring mercanary who's only there because he was involved in some obscure EU plot to assassinate Jabba! That guy instead of 3PO? Ah well - I appreciate the inclusion of a unique, new character, but I just think it is more important to have the whole team of heroes there, even if I do have Droid Escape and other C-3POs.

Thus, I will be even more disappointed if this Village set is true, and there is no 3PO in it... :sweet:

Euh... Really?

I have like more C-3PO's then battledroids, and I have allot of battledroids.

They bring at least one C-3PO every wave, sometimes even more.

Yes, we're definitely missing a few key variations of C3PO. There's at least one more OT variations we need, one where the wiring on the torso is lined up (From the later movies).

Then we really only need an Ep1 and Ep2 variation and than we'll pretty much have a full saga of 3PO's.

I also believe that the legs are shorter as well. If you look closely you can see that the 7676 AT-TE's legs were longer, in the current version they kept all details but wanted to hold the piece count and it looks kinda short in the end.

The interior doesn't look great either. I was either wishing for an empty interior or a really good one. The 7675 AT-TE's interior was really easy to mod because the plates were removable. Looking at this one, it looks very hard to do with all the technic blocking big plates. The outside looks a little better though. Looks like I'm getting the Gunship instead.

I don´t think Ree Yees replaced C-3PO and it has more to do with LEGO somehow being to cheap to include the right amount of figs in a ≈100€/$ vehicle set since 2008. It´s like they make up the correct selection of 7 to 10 figs and then just take some away that 5 figs are left for the final set.

I would like to have the newly redesigned 3PO but I don´t want the Droid Escape set, so a 3PO would be nice and he is central to the story anyway.

I know :)

With that description it can be anyone, from a strange ewok to a special Han Solo
