March 10, 201312 yr Which sub-forum is the picture in on phantoms.su? I'm fluent in Russian so I have no problem navigating the site, but I can't find it!!! новинки 2013 => lego star wars=> page 40 and earlyer.
March 10, 201312 yr I know we had a big discussion about force ghosts, but all I'm saying is now we have the Ewok village confirmed we have a good possibility of getting them, and I don't mean transparent I mean just like what Lego have done with the LOTR king and soldiers of the dead. March 10, 201312 yr We are still not 100% confirmed until LEGO confirms it. Not going to go too off topic, but they have put many things that weren't 100% confirmed before, like The Simpsons theme, the Yoda Hut, and the fake Lord of the Rings rumor list, just to name a few. Heck, once they linked to one of my videos for a source! Indeed. There are some sources which I would consider very reliable, such as Brickset, but even sets seen in the retailer's catalog are prelims and subject to change. (the biggest recent major change probably being the Qunilan Vos/Anakin Skywalker minifig swap in the big flat shuttle thing) We can't assume a set is "100% confirmed" just because a well-known video channel mentions it.

March 10, 201312 yr Will the Ewok Village be a UCS? If not, how much will it cost? I think it's very likely it will be UCS, so about £150-200.
March 10, 201312 yr More confirmed ewoks Haven't we had enough of the little buggers? Why not a Tusken Raider village, Jawa village, or heck even a Gungan underwater village? (Obviously just joking, but the Gungan's could potentially be pretty neat ) But seriously unless the build is stunning I don't see myself thinking twice about taking a pass on this one.
March 10, 201312 yr Ewok village but not Cloud City although both would cost a similar amount? At times I'd like lego to just explain 'why' certain sets get released (or don't get released) because I'm not seeing the pattern or logic

At times I'd like lego to just explain 'why' certain sets get released (or don't get released) because I'm not seeing the pattern or logic Cloud City has already been made once and this would be a new set rather than a remake (which this year is full of).
March 10, 201312 yr It seems to me like Endor and Hoth have been beaten to death lately. There wasn't ever any real action in the Ewok village, so I'm curious as to what this set would entail, and why it won over other memorable scenes on planets we've had little to no sets from.
March 10, 201312 yr Hoth has, but i could still use more endor. There has only been 2-3 endor sets in the last 2-3 years...
March 11, 201312 yr I can see why Lego is doing an Ewok Village. After all, it was where the celebration at the end of Episode VI took place, and was quite iconic for that.
March 11, 201312 yr Could the Ewok Village also have something to do with it being ROTJ's 30th anniversary this year? I'm really curious to see how this turns out. I know already I won't have the space to put it anywhere but if it looks good then I'd love to buy it anyway.
March 11, 201312 yr I think there's a good chance of an Endor Luke and possibly an updated Endor Leia, plus several Ewoks (remakes of Teebo and Paploo?) More Ewok variants would be great and Luke is long overdue for an update (I can't believe its been 14 years since the last Endor Luke!) I'd love to get both an updated Endor Leia along with an all new Ewok Village Leia. In the movies the ghosts were not completly transparent and they don't need to make the whole figure transparent I just hope for some good printing details. I'd rather have glow in the dark ghosts than transparant ones.
March 11, 201312 yr Oh, I couldn't care less about ewoks, but the parts in such a set would most likely be useful in building an Endor moc, or a nice vig featuring tall, thick trees such as those on Kashyyyk. Now, if they would only make Chewie's family..
March 11, 201312 yr Endor hasn't been beaten to death- the only Endor sets released since 2011 have been Ewok Attack and the BP.
March 11, 201312 yr Endor hasn't been beaten to death- the only Endor sets released since 2011 have been Ewok Attack and the BP. I agree, we still need to get a new AT-ST Walker, TIE Interceptor, Ewok Battle Pack, Imperial Base, and Imperial Shuttle. As for the Ewok Villiage set here are my predictions... -Ewok Villiage: Logray, Wicket, Teebo, Cheif Chipra, Romba, Ewok Villiage Leia, Endor Luke, Endor Han, C-3P0, Force Ghost Anakin, Force Ghost Obi-Wan, Forces Ghost Yoda, Two large Trees connected by a bridge(trees have things like Huts, Catapults, Imperial Helmet Drums, Fire, and Chair for C-3PO) and one small tree with net to capture Hero's)-249.99$ I don't know though, I guess well just have to wait for lego to announce it offically. @TheBrickDaddy-Lucas Films did not offically say the Star Wars: The Clone Wars was ending completely. They just said no are no longer making episodes. I think that indicates that There will be one more season of the clone wars just to tie up loose ends. It's possible it would air on Disney XD, but I think it's more likely they'll just air the episodes on line. Hopefully the Clone Wars does go on for one more season. I also highly doubt that lego will ever stop producing Clone Wars sets at this point, there's a lot more to make and it's like Episode 4 that came out 36 years ago, yet we always get an X-Wing evry couple of years. March 11, 201312 yr This is the est chance for force ghosts !! I don't think we will get the ghosts, and not because of the trans clear minifig issues. The problem will be the sets minifig budget. The ghosts eat up 3 Minifigs, for characters that appear for roughly 5 seconds and have no real play value. An Ewok village already would have such a high demand for other figs that squeezing in the 3 ghosts will be difficult. You need the 3 primaries, Han, Leia, Luke. You need C3PO. You need 2 or 3 Ewoks. You need a few Stormtroopers and Scout Troopers. That is a huge minifig budget for a set. Unless this is a truly HUGE set on par with the Death Star I don't think they will go with three Minifigs just for collectors. We have a better chance of seeing a single Obi Wan ghost fig in a new Wampa Cave or Dagobah set. At least in those scenes their is some interaction with the ghost, so some play value.
March 11, 201312 yr It looks like Star Wars: The Clone Wars has officially been canceled... Season 5 will be the last season. Dave Filoni says there will be parts of season 6 released as bonus content to tie up loose ends, but that's about it. I posted this because CW sets have always been an integral part of the Lego SW lineup for the past five years or so... I wonder if they'll still make clone wars sets, or if they'll transition to all live-action film sets again? Plus a few EU sets like TOR? It's got me stumped.
March 11, 201312 yr They still have alot to cover for TCW, so I don't see why they'd stop making sets for it.

Now, if they would only make Chewie's family.. Would that include a Lumpy and an Art Carney minifig?

Yes but they are still producing Clone Wars story arcs though. Maybe this time we will get some decent stuff rather than the fluff that SW Clone Wars series had. Plus they will introduce a new series from a different timeline so there is more opportunities there for more characters. Personally, I would be happy for Lego never to produce endless remakes of the same character ever again.

I got back into the LEGO online communities in 2008, which was when TCW started, and when LEGO became a serious hobby to me. I love the original Star Wars trilogy, and those are the sets that impress me the most, so I'm very happy that there will be more time to focus on those sets as opposed to the Clone Wars sets.
March 11, 201312 yr As much as I like Clone Wars, I don't mind seeing the LEGO line for the series retire gracefully. That would make room for a lot of potental for something else, like the elderly OT cast member minifigs for the SW sequel trilogy or EU stuff.
