Legoman123 Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 We will get an Endor leia in the Ewok village, unless they only give us one variation. Quote
Darth Malgus Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 we had a few AT-ST a couple of years ago. wouldn't mind an update of the Jedi Interceptor either Anakin's or Obi-Wan's would be nice. Quote
wesker Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 (edited) We will get an Endor leia in the Ewok village, unless they only give us one variation. Its unlikely. The only time Lego has ever really given us multiple variations of the same character in a single set was the Death Star. I think a more realistic outcome would be Ewok Leia coming in the village set with Luke, Han and C-3PO, while an updated Endor Leia and Chewbacca are saved for a future Endor themed set. CM4Sci Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 (edited) As I pointed out WAY back in November, CMFS9 Forest Maiden's hair could be for an Ewok Village Leia. -Sci Edited March 26, 2013 by CM4S Quote
wesker Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 (edited) As I pointed out WAY back in November, CMFS9 Forest Maiden's hair could be for an Endor Leia. -Sci The one you're referring to is the Ewok Village Leia who we all assume is coming in the rumoured village set later this year. Endor Leia is the camo version that came in the Battle of Endor set back in 2008. We'll need an update of her at some point to fit in with the rest of the modern Leia minifigures and its unlikely we'll see her in the village set if its already coming with Ewok Leia. Thats why I'm hoping she comes in the next AT-ST release. Edited March 26, 2013 by wesker Quote
Darth Malgus Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Not sure the idea of a big Endor set grabs me, we had the shield generator set as part of the 10th anniversary collection. I guess it will have to be pretty spectacular. Quote
Lord Rahl of Clannad Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 I'm somewhat disappointed that the grand Star Wars set this time around seems to be an Ewok Village. For me, it is baffling why we are getting an Ewok Village before a long-overdue remake of Cloud City. Cloud City is more desired and hasn't been touched upon very much recently; Endor, on the other hand, has had quite a few sets lately (but it's not in overkill territory yet). Oh well, nothing can change it. Though I do wonder what this Ewok Village will be able to give us. Quote
Fuppylodders Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 (edited) For me, it is baffling why we are getting an Ewok Village before a long-overdue remake of Cloud City. What is baffling about getting a set which has not been done at all yet compared to getting a remake of something that has been done and is available through various means? TLG cant win either way... People complain of getting remakes and people complain of getting something new... What are they supposed to do?! I for one currently prefer the idea of an ewok village over cloud city stuff. But thats just me. Edited March 26, 2013 by Fuppylodders Quote
Mr. Elijah Timms Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Bring on the Ewoks... Have the Cloud City and it's a classic. I certainly don't see myself getting another big Bespin set. I love how TLG seems to be really looking at the OT for places to fill in the gaps of what has and has not yet been done. If I had to guess, I'd say we get a more substantial cantina next year... The_Chosen_1 Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 ^ That looks pretty great! I can definitely see Lego using that hair piece for an Ewok village Leia. Quote
North Lego Star Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 (edited) I think the Ewok Villiage will mostly be based on the first time we say it with teh Rebels being captured and C-3PO being honored as a god so expect the minifigs to be based off of those scenes. There is no reason why they couldn't just throw in a couple of other characters as well (Wedge, Lando ect.) I'm sure Lego will want to milk the most out of an Ewok village as much as they can. Quote

Agreed, plus we've never known TLG to use absolute accuracy as a reason not to include an exclusive minifig or other feature. Quote
LegoKol Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 To answer my own question about TCW, it's wrapped up with Cartoon Network. No surprise there. It's going to continue in a different form, most likely 2 hour stories. More stories = more sets for us. There's still so much untapped CW and EU stuff that Lego needs to jump on.... Quote

Rumor or reports seem to indicate that we will only be seeing 2 of the season 6 story arcs. even though they have voice work on the whole season completed and supposedly 4 arcs pretty much done. I still think we will see at least a few more TCW sets in the next two Lego release cycles. Lego and the other merchandise license holders have done pretty well with the various unique named clones with custom armor printing. They will be a bit annoyed to see those go without a suitable replacement from Disney/Lucas. One of the easiest and most basic "gimmie" sets for Lego to make would be an Eta-2 Jedi Interceptor in Asohka's colors from the beginning of the last story arc. Quote
howie28 Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Thanks! Looks better than the preliminary pictures for sure. Quote
nrg Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Thanks! Looks better than the preliminary pictures for sure. Yeah! This one is much better . May i'll buy it. Quote
Ki-Adi-Mundi Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Thanks for this set preview. I am interested in everything OT and PT. Thus this might become an expensive but also rewarding wave for me. Let's see what the price policy and following sale developments have TLG led to... Quote
Mr Man Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 These are a certain buy for me . I own all the previous versions as well, I like seeing Lego evolution. Quote
Ritz Brick Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Is it just me or does anyone else think that by adding main characters into the typical army building sets, (Fett, ect.) it will force more people to buy the new battle packs, which haven't been selling as well as TLG had hoped? Quote

I wouldn't call any of these sets army builders or battle packs. These are vehicles which include characters, like any other set. Battle packs tend to focus on generic soldiers with a small buildable element (i.e. flickfire tree) to keep Hasbro's lawyers at bay. Quote
Bobsy Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 (edited) My buying guide. This is going to be a very expensive year, what with Lone Ranger, Castle, LOTR and Galaxy Force as well. And this isn't counting the TOR Jedi ship which is almost certainly a day one purchase for me. Edited March 28, 2013 by Bobsy Quote
KurttKrueger Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 These look great. That Yoda and Dooku set looks good. Have we seen any official images of the Jedi Defender from SWTOR yet? Really looking forward to that set. Quote
