Does anyone else think that the new CW Maul head looks WAY better than the non-CW version? I feel like Maul is the only character who has improved from the CW treatment. I definitely plan on using the new head on the 2011 TPM version.

I feel totally different. For me the Clone Wars Maul's head looks much worse than the movie version, even for the CW it looks terrible.

I have always felt that Maul had really cool eyes, and that didn't translate in the non-CW fig, but they got it perfect with the CW version.

The eyes have more space and therefore have that extra bit of detail (mainly the white and red parts of his eyes).

I prefer the one from the polybag last year at the toy fair. I think it looks amazing.

I have to agree with you, the promo polybag version looks more serious and determined than the other version of Darth Maul, as his character was meant to be. The new CW version looks a bit too goofy and cartoonish in my opinion.

I agree that the CW eyes work well for Maul just based on that appearance, but I can't help and see the old Indian faces with the noses when I look at that figure. I assume it is just where the tattoo is on his face, but it resembles a nose to me and they looked horrible on the old Indian figures.

I do really like the new polybag Maul. He is still sealed though, so I can't enjoy him fully. I usually try to get two of each of them, one for display, one sealed. But I couldn't justify swinging $20 twice. Unless the price has gone down since I bought one.

I think that's the only set which is cheaper in Poland ;) We can get it for 10$

Unfortunately the only Darth Maul I have is the one from 2011, the worst of them all so far. (His eyes are too close together, he looks ratty)

Looking forward to the chicken leg one when the new sets appear...

Me too, The first Maul with the zabrak horn piece, and the 2011 Maul with TCW face would look pretty good.

I really like the torso on the 2013 TCW Maul, though. Along with the polybag one, the detail is amazing.

Just take off those rediculous chicken legs, and he'll be just fine.

Celebration Europe's exhibitor list was released, and LEGO GmbH has booths 326 and 316, but there's no description for either of those beyond the name. I don't think there's been anything that was unveiled at past SWCs, right?

The last two years we have gotten an iconic scene (Rancor Pit) and an iconic ship (Tie Fighter). My guess is that we will possibly get a final showdown set with Luke, Vader, and Palpatine.

Well going back a fair bit, the last Celebration Europe unveiled the Motorised AT-AT for the first time. Good God, was it really that long ago.

It's been six years since we first saw that set? Wow. I'm pretty sure that was before I started to seriously follow LEGO rumors. I was still in my 'newb lurker' stage.

Do you have the drop on any exclusives yet? Last year it was the Boba Fett tin. Does anyone know if Lego is doing something similar this year?

I bet if they do, it will be AOTC related, perhaps Jango.

A seller on ebay appears to have acquired the new young Boba Fett minifig early, item # 400522809810. Looks good, nice details.

One of the two LEGO stands (8 x 12 meters) will be dedicated to MOCs from AFOLs.

(Most of) my models will be there, along with various sceneries and maxifigs from people of the German MBFR AFOL club, and the great Bespin scenery from Sky4walker:
