Having seen the first non-TLC / non-photoshopped pictures of the Sail Barge now, I am not sure if I like those sails, as they are really shiny and plastic-y. Reminds me of seeing the new Lone Ranger teepee in person, which was quite a disappointment. I had the Barge on my wanted list but I am not sure about it anymore. It's surely something that we can fix easily, but I am kind of a purist and adding a few pieces here and there is another thing than crafting new sails. Looking forward for the first picture reviews!

Well you could always track down the sails from the old barge and swap them for the new ones.

I'll probably end up getting the barge at some point because I missed out on the old one. I do wish we had gotten a couple more figures, at least they could have thrown in a C3PO to go with R2.

There is a list of Jabba's henchmen along the side, and so many of them would make great minifigures. Lots of them wouldn't requite molds, just printing like Kithba and the Weequay (Queepeg). I'd rather have one of them than another C-3PO.

I do think the Sail Barge looks a bit minifig light, but with Jabba and three brand new molds, it is still very decent :)

So would I. My point was really that if they weren't going to give us any other new characters than they might as well throw in some that they have in stock.

Strange, all new SW (and LOTR) sets, exepet Jabba's Sail barge are already out in Belgium. I haven't seen any revieuws yet, so I'm quitte shure that this time we are really early.

In regards to TOR sets, Sith Battlecrusiers, Hounds Tooth, Bossk, etc.: Again, please remember that this thread is for discussion of rumored or confirmed products for 2013. Not theoretical sets, not sets you want to see, not sets you think we might see no matter how obvious the opportunity. Such discussion belongs in Future Star Wars Sets. That goes for minifigs, too, discuss minifigs you wish to see in Most Wanted Star Wars Characters. Thank you.

I'll be moving some posts over to those two topics in a moment.

Collishop.be has them, so they must be at Dreamland as well.

Yup, Dreamland it is, it was in the Dreamland of Lochristi I saw them, but normaly they should have them in other Dreamlands aswell.

But if I were you guys, I would but only one set to satisfy your nerd urges and wait a little to buy the rest As soon as they are for sale in other shops, the price will drop.

Anyway, that's my plan.

Hopefully it won't be long before we get some pics of it.

Probably Comic con. I can't see them announcing either the Sydney Opera house or the Winter Village set there. And with no big Super Hero set on the horizon the Ewoks will probably be Lego's big nerd bait reveal there.

Is there really the market out there for a giant Ewok set (it must be large if the rumoured price point is true)? I can see fans forking out for a decent Cloud City or Mos Eisley UCS but an Ewok village - the best thing that can be said about it is at least its not a Gungan Village I guess.

Still, I guess the proof is in the viewing so I'll withhold judgement till we see something solid.

The Yoda Chronicles was interesting. Seeing the summer sets up close and in motion really makes me like them a bit better. The barge looks pretty good.

The weird thing is that they use the clone wars Yoda instead of the new Yoda we saw in the trailers (Although the new Yoda appears in the shot going to hyperspace, but I suspect that was an accident). Also a lot of what was in the actual short doesn't match up with the trailer we got months ago. It seems like they completely reanimated it for some reason... Very unusual.

That's how I feel...I wish they would have attacked a different area myself. $200 for some trees and new Ewoks doesn't excite me a whole lot...now a Cloud City or Cantina? I'd pay a lot for that.

My thoughts as well. There is going to have to be something pretty spectacular in this set to justify that price tag. I would have much preferred a Cloud city or a Mos Eisley or a Yavin temple set.

I think lego is saving something along those lines for next year. 2014 actually pretty big for LSW since it's its 15th Anniversary and the last year we see a lto of OT sets really. Don't give you hopes up now because I think 2014 will be the best year yet.
