ISDAvenger Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Hmm my source never mentioned that to me. And I know most of the details about it. Oh well we will just have to see. Yea, I don't know man. It does sound rather odd. Here is the link to the post. http://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=731446 Quote
Kitfistonator Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 I thoroughly believe that the Ewok village is certainly real and it should make for a very interesting set to say the least!! Is it true that it might replace the Death Star that is available now? Quote

Gremer Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Rumor has it the Ewok Village will be revealed tomorrow. Not sure how much truth is behind it, but I thought I would share. Bricklink poster quoted the following: "Oh, dear! Just got the press-kit for the LEGO Star Wars Ewok Village coming out in September. It will be revealed tomorrow at an event in the Czech Republic and I’m not supposed to say anything until then but OMG, it looks great! (*fainting smiley goes here*) Expect pictures and the full press kit, including designer video on all LEGO fantasies tomorrow (June 1st). We are allowed to share after 5 AM EST." If that's true then I can't wait! I'll be getting it for Christmas if it looks good. Quote

This might be a stupid question but i'm going to ask it anyway. Can you tell us anything about whats in the set or is there a regulation against that ? Quote

The Joker1 Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 (edited) Hi guys, One thing I am allowed to reveal is how I got the info. An old friend of mine is a UK consumer products checker. Basically what he does is check over products of different manufacturers to make sure they are appropriate for buying in the UK. And then makes sure the recommended age is appropriate for UK buyers. Thus he gets to see toys and games sometimes months before everyone else. Edited May 31, 2013 by The Joker1 Quote

Are there between 10 to 16 minifigs in this set? And are there 2000-3000 pieces in this set? I understand if you can't answer them, but I would greatly appreciate it if you did. So i heard from a Lego retail store employee that Lego might put the Star Wars line on hiatus until the Rebels series is released. Anyone else heard this? WHAT? That would be a terrible choice by lego if the put the Star Wars line on halt just for Star Wars Rebels. I really hope that employee is wrong because lego wouyld miss a whole year of sets if they waited until Star Wars Rebels to be released. @The Joker1- Thank you for the information! I have to say, I'm looking foward to seeing this set, more so now knowing the large minifig count. Edited May 31, 2013 by North Lego Star Quote

Hi, Well I guess I can reveal a bit but I cant do anything else after this. Yes to the piece count it is way over 2000, Thats a bit exact for the figures but it is over 9516 but less than 10188  Quote
BudhaBoss Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 (edited) Well, the people organizing the event on Lipno Point said there will be new set revealed tomorrow (press conference from 9.00-10.00 CET). So probably that's it. I am sure pictures of the set will quickly spread on Internet, but to have it first hand, here is the facebook page of the event (in Czech, but you can see some great Lego MOCs there done by AFOLs): https://www.facebook.com/pages/Uj%C3%AD%C5%BEd%C3%ADme-NA-LEGU/559528554067015?fref=ts Edited May 31, 2013 by BudhaBoss Quote
Gremer Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 (edited) So, there is between 10 and 24 figures in the Ewok Village. That's alot of figures, especially considering I never got the Death Star. Edited May 31, 2013 by Gremer Quote

Ondra Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Yes is true that something is going to reveal tomorrow at Czech republic event, but isnt clear what it is. Quote
AudiBobaR5-D2 Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 (edited) Because of this rumour about a Ewok Village being announced officially, I'm already imagining what the box art might look like. Missed out on 10188, so hopefully I won't miss out on this one if tomorrow is the official reveal. Please say its true, too excited to be disappointed as this set might make me more interested in the OT than PT or TCW. Edited May 31, 2013 by AudiBobaR5-D2 Quote
StoutFiles Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Missed out on 10188 How did you miss out? The Death Star is still for sale on Lego's website. I wonder when they're going to discontinue it, if ever. Quote

Oops what I meant to say is that I wanted to get the set when it was released, but couldn't afford it so I bought other sets instead. And If this rumoured Ewok Village is true, then maybe it might replace 10188 by 2014 or later depending on what other sets is on the cards for TLG to announce and release before and after the Sequel Trilogy gets released Quote
Faefrost Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 I would suspect that the Czech reveal will more likely be this years Winter Village set. It just seems to better fit the environment. They will probably hold the Ewok's back to announce at next months huge nerdfest where they will get a broader "not just Lego fans" audience. Quote
