Sir_Basil_Ashton Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Cant wait for this, especially if the rumors that it will incorporate parts of the trench run are true. Where did you hear this rumor? This is the first I've heard of it. I'd be really interested to see how LEGO pulls this off. You have to remember Star Wars was aimed at young Teens and kids so really it doesn't have to be logical. I think the Ewok's brought a bit of needed humor to the end of Jedi other wise it would be boring to the younger fans. The Ewoks did bring a little humor to the end of RotJ but I don't agree that it would have been "boring to the younger fans" of the time. I was 8-yo when I saw RotJ at the theater and I didn't need Ewok type humor to enjoy SW and ESB. The fact that Star Wars took place "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away....", was more than enough to keep the young me from getting bored. That and going to a theater to watch a movie. Quote
Albus Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Its a Kashyyyk battle location, not an Ewok village! And just so you don't get your hopes up, a kashyyyk battle has also NOT been confirmed. Haha, don't worry, I know that neither have been confirmed, as I have been following the discussion. It just seems as if there is a gap in the conversation when a couple of people suddenly come to the conclusion that it was confirmed, as if it actually was, that's all. I was questioning some odd responses where people were treating it as fact. In terms of a UCS X-Wing including part of the trenches, that would be cool I think. Why not have some Turbolasers? I am pretty sure they have only been seen in the Death Star (10188). Quote
Im a brickmaster. Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Yes! Another Mandolorain vehicle, Im trying to amass a Death Watch army so this good news, are there going to be any Star Wars stuff at the London fair? Quote
HawkLord Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 I was wondering, what do you guys think of the chances of getting an Adi Gallia minifigure in the next wave of sets? Granted there's probably more of an interest in Adi Gallia from her CW background, I'm all for Jedi Council members from TPM. Quote
Savage Oppress Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 (edited) I am thinking they could do a Clone Wars version of Jabba's Palace in 2014 or 2015. Edited January 21, 2013 by Savage Oppress Quote

North Lego Star Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 (edited) Where are you supposed to be able to download that? I tried entering the code from the instructions booklets on the main page, but it only unlocks a sort of commercial for the Rancor Pit. It actually in one of the lighten Holocrons, but when I tried clicking on it, is was just directed to the downloads and wallpapers page so I'm not sure what it really is. As for the whole Adi Gallia hopes, considering the fact that she wasn't seen during the Battle of Geonosis, I highly doubt she or Eeth Koth will be seen this wave. In the Homing Spider Droid set, I believe we will either see Agen Kolar(who was only labeled NEW! in the Palpatine's Arrest set) or a Stass Allie. If it's Agen Kolar, he'll probally end up getting some leg printing and a different face just so lego can label him new in this set. Hopefully it's actually Stass Allie though as she was actually seen in the Battle of Geonosis and has yet to be made into a lego minifig. Don't worry though, I have I feeling if we see a Stass Allie in the Homing Spider Droid set, we'll see a CW version of Adi Gallia very soon. Edited January 21, 2013 by North Lego Star Quote
wesker Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 I am thinking they could do a Clone Wars version of Jabba's Palace in 2014 or 2015. Whats the point? We just had one released and what characters would it come with that we wouldn't already own by that point? Instead of remaking old sets I rather see the Clone Wars line focus on new ones that we wouldn't get from the 6 movies. How about more Umbara? Zygarians? Nightsisters? Mortis? Zillo Beast? More Mandalorians? Even Ziro the Hutt's palace would be a better option than another Jabba one. It actually in one of the lighten Holocrons, but when I tried clicking on it, is was just directed to the downloads and wallpapers page so I'm not sure what it really is. Don't worry though, I have I feeling if we see a Stass Allie in the Homing Spider Droid set, we'll see a CW version of Adi Gallia very soon. Screen accuracy has never really been one of Lego's top priorities though. The most recent example is Ahsoka Tano being included in the Umbaran MHC despite never even appearing in that storyarc. I could see Adi Gallia being inlcuded over Stass Allie solely because she's the one people are more familiar with and there really isn't any visual difference between the two. I also disagree on Agen Kolar being the Zabrak in the Spider Droid set. He's already available in Palpatine's Arrest. Why would they bother to update him a year later with a new head or leg printing that he doesn't need? At least with Eeth Koth only being previously available as a Clone Wars figure the changes would be justified. And if he's anything like Saesee Tinn he only requires a new head and different coloured arms anyway, which would be no more effort that needlessly changing Agen Kolar. Quote
Oky Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 It actually in one of the lighten Holocrons, but when I tried clicking on it, is was just directed to the downloads and wallpapers page so I'm not sure what it really is. I still don't see it. I only see three highlighted holocrons: one for the trailer, one for that Umbara clip, and one for a wallpaper with Yoda and the younglings. Quote

Who said he needed to be updated? Right now we don't have any confirmation on whether the jedi in that set is new or not. Although once we do I think that will confirm if it's Eeth Koth or Agen Kolar (if it's new then it's Eeth, if it's not then it's Agen). Quote

legofreak86 Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Interesting, I can't see the medal really..the green seems new though.. Thats what the box says. Its probably a preliminary cg design for the official image! The figure will actually have the medal either printed ,or maybe one of the detachable ones we got in the olympic minfigure packs. Either way an exclusive minifig is an exclusive minifig and the special was quite enjoyable. Quote
Oky Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Well, that's disappointing. We can make a Darth Vader with medal right now using the one from the CMFs, we don't need to buy a DVD for that. I was really hoping for a Luke in Darth Vader disguise. Oh well. Quote
Drock Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Why is he wearing a medal? Was that something in the Empire Strikes Out show? I haven't seen it. Quote
strangely Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 All I can say is that it better be the actual medal piece rather than printing (I don't like the printed medal on top of the prinitng, it sort of ruins me being able to use the minifigure elsewhere). Why is he wearing a medal? Was that something in the Empire Strikes Out show? I haven't seen it. Yes, he gets a medal. Quote
nrg Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 (edited) Toy Fair report Then it was onto Star Wars and there was the Jabba’s Sail Barge and Republic Gunship will give details on that later, plus this years advent calendar will include and exclusive Jango Fett and most sets this year will be focused on the the Yoda Chronicles but will see a lot of minifigs we have seen before with new prints like Count Dooku . Edited January 22, 2013 by nrg Quote
Albus Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 (edited) Hmmm... good that there is a set with Jango Fett, but bad in that I was planning not to get the calendar this year... (I prefer to get one every second year). It certainly feels like they are just throwing him in there to get people to buy the calendar, but oh well, I haven't seen the calendar yet and I could easily be swayed. I certainly look forward to the Dooku figure (pretty sure he'll turn out as he is in the Yoda Chronicles Trailer). I am very glad they used the hairpiece they have, I knew it would be perfect if they ever did a Dooku remake, and hair in grey is always useful (and usually rare, depending on the piece). Marvelfan120 Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 so does the lack of 70024 HH-87 Starhopper and 70025 Jedi Class Cruiser at the toy fair mean those were just rumors or could TLG be keeping those under wraps for some reason? Quote
