Good pictures!

The Barge looks better but still small and Ree Yees look interesting, hopefully his design is not final...

AT-TE looks alright

The minis in the advent calender looks like they're getting better, Jango might be in the dead middle so still no clear pictures, but I think he's 'santafied'

Gunship looks alright, can't wait to see the finalized versions of all of them!

I"ll pass on the AT-TE and the Sail Barge(I'll probally buy Max Rebo and Ree Yees down the road) but, I just have to get the Republic Gunship and the Advent Calander. The Gunship looks really big and comes with all the Episode 2 jedi I really want other than Stass Allie. That Advent Calander is the best yet though! We get an R5-D7(I have been considering getting another one of those for sometime now since mine was misprinted), Zam's Airspeeder(hopefully a sign that she's coming soon), Young Boba and A Santa Jango who I think just has a Red Jet Pack.

I hope to see more pictures soon.

For those in Australia, I just picked up the A-wing at my local Big-W store ($38.00), great model. I also saw the Rancor pit, AT-RT and series 3 Planets. None of the new sets were in any of the other department stores. While I'm here, can anyone tell me the usual summer release date? I'm going to Hawaii in June and was hoping to pick up some sets from the Lego store there without the "Australia Tax" on them.

These images are from a user on FBTB so credit goes to him for seeing the dealers catalog.

Hah! I love that Jabba is peeking out of the window

Indeed, that Gran looks great, even at this preliminary stage. I'm not going to buy a whole sail barge just for him though. I'll wait for Lego to reuse the head mold in a new podracer set.

Still no pics of the small sets?

I don't see a Jango. I see a young Boba.

You have to squint a little to see him. He's on the box art behind the watermark. Sadly, it's just a stand-in with Santa Yoda's torso and the Death Watch helmet. Hopefully the final version will be a completely red and white mando armor.

Young Boba looks great, and I like that it comes with a Geonosian, but other than that, this calendar seems a bit disappointing. Many of the models look like slight alterations of models from previous calendars. :sceptic: In fact, this whole wave just seems like a giant rehash. The only really new sets are the Mando Speeder and Jek-14's Starfighter, and the latter is something that Lego completely made up themselves. Are the designers so out of ideas that they need to release sets which they already released a couple years ago and invent new vehicles/characters? There are still so many possibilities for new sets, both from the CW and the movies, so seeing a wave like this is very depressing. On the other hand, I don't mind saving some money for once, so as long as they are back to releasing new sets in the next wave, I'm fine with it.

Santa Yoda's torso and the Death Watch helmet.

Ah-ha, that's what that is. I was looking for a standard coloured Jango. :hmpf: A red & white Mandalorian would be a nice minifig variation, but to me it's just a nameless clone dressed up like death watch if he doesn't come in his colours.

Santa Jango doesn't count as the long awaited new Jango minifig, TLG!:laugh:

Both young Boba and Ree Yees look amazing. Hopefully the new molds for Rees and Max Rebo will come in nice hard ABS plastic. Not a fan of the cheap rubber Lego uses on a lot of figures these days.

That Yees figure looks fantastic! I'm still not sold on te Sail Barge though. I just can't get over how ugly the front is. I'll for sure be getting the republic gunship though.

According to Brickipedia, the astromech in JEK-14's ship is called R4-G0, the Jedi with clone armour is JEK-14 and the olive green fig is a separatist bounty hunter.

Now that we know we are getting a jango fett and a youn boba, I think we will see a new jango fett slave 1 in the winter wave. It only makes sense to get one.

Well we're definitely getting a mini one in the advent calendar!

Posted

Oh man... I can't belive Lego couldn't find a solution for the Bubble guns on the gunship for ten years :sceptic: A half bubble again, Anyway the AT-TE is still great, but the Barge is awful IMO.

i never bought me an advent calendar, but this one seems cool enough to pick it up.

That Ree-Yees headpiece can also be used for making senators like Ask Aak and Aks Moe, We never had a senator-set.

I think I will try to get this calendar just for kid Boba and Santa Jango. Also have to try to pick up the Sail Barge and Gunship. I really can not wait to see the Coporate Alliance Tank to see wether or not to buy it. Probably buy it anyway for Jango!

Someone who works at TRU in Australia reported on another forum that they are getting "X-Wing 10240" with no further details except a list price in their system of AU$279.99 and a possibility that its a TRU exclusive.

this seems much more realistic, and puts a rough piece count/size to it. If this more realistic suggestion is closer to home, i look very much forward to seeing what its like

Good find! That gran is still preliminary, with plo's torso.

What does look wrong is the cannon on th barge.
