Erik Varszegi says , JEK's Starfighter is based on E-wing .. And talking about intresting things , check out the FBTB videos , they are great.

The bad thing about Clone Wars is so many of the vehicles are seen in ep2 and 3, so we are getting a bunch more rehashes than I would prefer. With the OT sets they seem to cycle through them less often, so that works out better. Also, I don't know anything about the new Stealth fighter from the show, but I love new ships, and this one is interesting looking.

These new sets mostly look good but I do not like Legos thinking with JEK-14 taking up a slot that could leave space for another Episode 2 set.

I agree. I'll really have to like the ship in the Yoda Chronicles, or else I'll just end up waiting for a clearance deal.

Looking over the episode 2 sets I kind of dislike that we only get Geonosis based sets. It's sort of a bummer we didn't get a remake of the bounty hunter pursuit or anything Kamino based, it just feels like too much focus on the last twenty minutes of the film.

I disagree. TLC remade the whole Jabba scene in - what? Four sets, distributed over two waves, maybe three. I'm glad if they'll do the same with major scenes of the other films, rather than covering a specific scene with a set every couple of waves. The summer waves comes up with five major sets from AotC. To me, it covers most of the stuff that is of importance to me in AotC (= the stuff where the action is), except the dropship (I'm not so fond of the arena battle against the three creatures).

I still think there should be a Kamino based set- there haven't even been any Lego Kaminoans- and a Bounty hunter Pursuit remake. The latter could be a cheaper way to get the new Obi-Wan and Anakin. But there's still 2014...

Agreed. My problem with the Geonosis sets is ultimately they represent only a very small part of the film (Essentially the last twenty minutes) and it's disappointing that none of the other cool things about the movie have made it into Lego form yet.

It's different for the Jabba sets. We've had a ton of sets tackling almost ever part of ROTJ (If the Ewok village turns out to be true that will make three big ROTJ sets this year). After over a decade of sets for this movie regularly coming out it's nice to have a couple of waves that focus on just specific things, like the Jabba sets. For AOTC we pretty much only have had Geonosis sets, past and present, with a few exceptions of course. At some point focusing on anything else from that movie would be refreshing.

Since i see that there is not going to be any EP III sets , do you think it will be the winter sets based on?

I would think some are lined up for 2014. Even with the whole 3D release up in the air I wouldn't be surprised if Lego still kept a focus on Ep3 sets (Even without the movie release, sets for Ep3 would sell well). Plus I imagine they want to fit in as many sets of the prequel trilogy as they can before the new trilogy appears.

Well Disney canceled the episode II and III 3D versions (maybe gossip), I hope we get some episode III sets though.

It's not a rumor. The films are postponed. They won't be released in 2013.

Bummer, I still had some hope :(

I don't get. Episode I in 3D was really profitable so why not milk the cow some more?

Or are they maybe focusing everything on the new movies for 2015?

Some funny facts:

There is only one female main character in each OT and PT, and through rather awkward circumstances both of them loose a smaller or bigger part of their clothes unintentionally. They both appear as minifigures in these revealing outfits in Summer 2013, with the 2 biggest sets, which both don't appear for the first time.

New polybag:

I'm not sure I get it. So it's just the die from the game made into a keychain? Hmmm. I guess whatever floats others' boats, but I don't see any real appeal, unless you have use for those printed tiles

I think we'll be getting Adi Gallia in her Clone Wars version. Same "hair" piecemaybe a different printing + the CW version of head printing. She was in quite some episodes ...

I hope so. I'd rather have a CW Adi Gallia than no Adi Gallia at all.

The problem with AOTC is that most of the action happens on Geonosis. Look at all the sets you can get out of those scenes alone - you have the Gunship, Dropship, AT-TE, AT-OT, SPHA-T, Hailfire Droid, Corperate Alliance Starship, Spider Droid, Tank Droid, Jedi Duel, Geonosian Fighter, Solar Sailer, Separatist Shuttle, Droid Factory and Arena.

Besides the Jedi Starfighter, Slave I, Padme's Starship and Bounty Hunter Pursuit, what else is there?

- Anything relating to Kamino can easily be incorperated into the Jedi Starfighter and Slave I.

- Absolutely nothing happens on Naboo that warrants making a set of.

- The Lars Homestead and Tusken Raider Encounter would be better off based on ANH rather than AOTC. Younger versions of the Lars family could always be thrown into Padme's Starship.

- Dex's Diner maybe, but it was barely on screen for more than 2 minutes. Best case scenario would be including it in the Bounty Hunter Pursuit as a small extra.

New polybag:

Does anyone here know why Lego don't ship polybags to Australia? I would love to get my hands on them but cannot unless I pay ridiculous prices here (upwards of $25 US)...

I really like the duel set and hope TLG realizes a lot of people interested in SW themes appreciate the playsets. TLG has a lot to gain if it gives vehicles a break for a while and focuses on sets more. Even those who criticize jabba's palace and rancor must admit TLG planned this well. More like this would work great. That being said other than the duel set I do want the barge and the gunship (only because I missed out on both the other times they were released).

I agree, I think playsets are a great way to capture Star Wars as the a lot of the Final battle in the Star Wars Movies often are actually duels between your main characters. So I hope in the coming years we see more sets a long the lines of the Duel on Geonosis and Jabba's Palace/Rancor Pit.

By the way, did anyone notice the absence of Planet Series 4 at the Toy Fair? Does anyone else think this may be an indication that lego is actually changing the Series?

EDIT-

I was thinking about lego possibly changing out some of the minifigs they put in the planet sets, but I suppose it's possible they oculd be changing what planet's will be released actually because there are no PT, CW or EU planet sets in this series.
