The_Chosen_1 Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 It's going to be a very expensive year, indeed. Every single one of the Star Wars sets is on my to-buy list. Quote
Faefrost Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 I like the coloring of it. I will stand out on the shelf without being too garish. Now if we could just see what the Jedi Defender will look like Quote
Bobsy Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Have we seen any official images of the Jedi Defender from SWTOR yet? Really looking forward to that set. No, not a sausage. It's a little odd, to say the least. I have a strong feeling (but only that - a feeling) that it's going to a be an exclusive of some kind, as they weren't touting it at any of the trade shows. That or it's still not finished. Quote
LegoDad Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 These sets are excellent. I missed almost all of these the last time around, so being able to buy new at good prices makes me happy. Not too interested in the Clone Wars stuff, the the Yoda/Dooku set, AT/TE, Gunship are definite buys. Will probably just get Jango on his own as I'm not sold on the Droid set he's in. These along with Lone Ranger and LotR/Hobbit makes for a rough year, but in a good way. Quote
wesker Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Thanks for the pic. Can't wait to see the new Cad Bane up close. His new face should be very useful for custom Duros since he won't have the printed cheek hoses this time. Hopefully Rako Hardeen will come with his helmet, even if its a reprinted Mandalorian one. North Lego Star Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Thanks for the picture nrg! Although the set looks pretty pice, I don't think i'll be picking this one up since I really have no interest or purpose for it. It's going to be a expensive year though as I paln on picking up the Duel on Geonosis, Mandalorian Speeder, Republic Gunship, Spider Droid and when Black Friday comes along I'll pick up the advent calander for half price. Pretty good year for lego though. Quote
Ritz Brick Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 I wouldn't call any of these sets army builders or battle packs. These are vehicles which include characters, like any other set. Battle packs tend to focus on generic soldiers with a small buildable element (i.e. flickfire tree) to keep Hasbro's lawyers at bay. The old corporate alliance tank droid was a great army builder, had the current iteration not had Jango, it could be the same. Quote
Darth Malgus Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Wondering why we ended up with 2 sets featuring obi-wan from the Zygerian slavers arc. Nice ship though, I think I'll be broke this year. Quote

Sleeper Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 (edited) Han solo Promo Minifig? Edited March 29, 2013 by Sleeper Quote
Brickadeer Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Thanks for the picture. I don't like this figure. Quote
Basteq Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Han solo Promo Minifig? Is it May exclusive? Quote
Bobsy Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Good lord. Am I the only one thinking boy scout uniform seeing that? Quote
MandaloretheLesser Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 That Han looks great! As my favorite movie is ESB, so i will for sure be getting it. I wonder why he is wearing brown and not the normal dark blue as in the movie and shame he doesn't have a blaster. Also i am going to guess this will be the may 4th fig as their has be rumors a few pages back. Glad we get a new Han face expression! Quote

Because it's brown: Nevertheless, I don't like the printing and the fact the figure comes with a tan hood rather with a hood of the same color as the jacket. Edited March 29, 2013 by Brickadeer Quote
Dragonfire Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 The Tank Droid, Spider Droid, Yoda/Dooku and Advent Calendar sets will definitely be on my to-buy list. Not so sure about the AT-TE and Mando Speeder. The promo minifig doesn't look that good... When is Black Friday? Quote
just2good Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 I usually don't like the May the Fourth promos but darn... that basket looks HOT. I mean, cold. Or, rather, cool. Quote

just2good Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Basket? I sure hope you mean his hood... -Sci A hood? Dang it! I got excited for nothing. Quote
just2good Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 The blue trooper guy is up on eBay! -Sci Wow, what a cool figure! I like the shade of blue on him (what color is that in LEGO terms? It looks different than the prelims...). Thanks for following up with the deal! Quote
Leo604 Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Good lord. Am I the only one thinking boy scout uniform seeing that? Nope; I also sort of thought 'lame Hoth trooper' until I read the name on the package. I probably won't be looking for one of these unless I happen to walk right into the aisle where they're stocked.
