I think each store has a certain amount and they leave them out until they are gone? And they are in little sealed tub each containing one set.

Im not 100% sure of the cost but when i went over halloween they had the frankenstien for £3.99 i think. :classic:

Well that's reasonable. :D

Thank you! I will race for the printed piece.

Wow, what a cool figure! I like the shade of blue on him (what color is that in LEGO terms? It looks different than the prelims...). Thanks for following up with the deal!

How about I tell you that I ve just now found this figure and Anakin and Obi-Wan from 75021 for a decent price, the only problem is that its in the Czech Republic, so the postage for most of you would be probably huge.

If lego keeps up with this leg connection piece printing, i think i will stop collection lego completely. I looks horrible on most figures...

I think it looks OK for the most part, especially on the likes of Boushh Leia and Ahsoka. In fact, I'd rather they did it more often. Even so, its hardly something to quit collecting Lego over.

The Han Solo minifigure looks nice but isn't really worthy of May 4th exclusive status.

Maybe, but its just the inconsistency that bothers me. Sometimes the belt is printed on the torso, then on the legs... I hope they just pick one and stick to it.

Han might have been better if more of his face were shown. As it is, nothing about the figure really screams Star Wars to the passing, casual observer. Granted, I know a Star Wars promo figure is not really for the casual observer, it still would be better for me to have something instantly recognizable. Maybe that's just more based on my collecting habits lately.

My guess is that it was originally some AotC minifigure, but when they heard that there will be no 3D release they had to quickly change it. Last year's was TC-14 because of the episode 1 3D release.

It's a good quality figure for May 4th but was another Han in Hoth gear needed..? I'd rather had a figure from Jabba's Palace (Squidhead for instance)

I think one constant is that the promo polybag figs do not use new molds, or at least not new molds distinct to them.

4th may Han. any problems?

The Han you posted a picture of came in the Hoth Echo Base set back in 2011:

The one for May 4th will be dark brown and will also have a different face.

That picture has both Hans in it

Huh, you're right. When I clicked on the picture it zoomed into the blue Han so I assumed it was just that. I guess that's what you get for not checking out the rest of the picture.

I'm not sure if this has been addressed already, but will the new Han minifigure be made out of regular ABS or cheap Chinese plastic? It's a pretty nifty-looking figure compared to the prior verion, but I may not want to spend the money is he's not ABS.

Pretty sure you'll have to wait for it to be released before we find that out.

Probalbly china, as previous may the 4th minifig was too.

Polybag exclusive minifigs are mosly from china.

But what's the problem with "cheap" ABS?

I did a search of this forum and I couldn't find a speculation thread or rumor mill, so here goes:

I was browsing reddit (bad idea, I know) and I found this picture. 14197 isn't a real set number, so it might be something new. The comment thread said the box was as tall as a normal person (a bit under 6 feet) and weighed 850 pounds. So it might be a model for LEGOLAND or something - I don't know. I bet some of you have seen it already; it's on the front page.

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place; I did the appropriate searches beforehand.

Sorry - comment thread is here.

14197 Imperial Star Destroyer . Huh ! I would be suprised if it is real . Anyway , i can imagine that , as a UCS scaled ISD with playset functions with 20 minifigs . It would be too awesome .
