Wow! Second wave 2013 sets look Fantastic! Love the redone Gunship, definite purchase for me. The redesigned ep2 clones are a big improvement on the CW clones, can't wait to get my hands on them :sweet:

I don't know if this has been mentioned or not, but it looks like ToysRus is having a May 4 event with a nice looking mini-buid

While we're on the topic of May 4th and TYC, the newest Club magazine has a page about an event where in Time Square they will be revealing a big model. Any guesses as to what it is?

 That's funny, I'd never noticed that they'd stopped referring to the sets as 'UCS'.

Guess it's been longer than I'd thought since I'd become serious about LEGO; my ingrained LEGO dictionary apparently needs to be updated. :look:

The point stands, though: UCS is a style of building, one of which Cloud City and the TIE Collection are obviously not a part of.

TLG will call it whatever you all want if it means you'll buy it. I think originally it worked because it was somewhat understood that UCS meant "one time only". Now that TLG realizes there's more money to be made from releasing repeats, they seem to have moved away from it. Frankly I think it's unfair to UCS collectors, but then again, I want a Falcon and don't want to Bricklink it or pay over $1000.

On a different topic, the Sail Barge looks worse then the old model, and yet much too similar. That's a ship that really needs a UCS makeover for some accuracy, at that scale you're going to get an awkward design IMO.

Nice HR images of this summer's SW sets in HD!

Thanks GRogall! :classic: Jango looks great, and even though the set isn't very movie accurate I can't wait to get it! The Duel on Geonosis is starting to grow on me a little bit too

thank you. May the 4th be with you!

Please don't quote posts with lot of pictures, thanks.

Some of the sets seems nice, even just for parts. Thanks for the HR images

There are even sets with a poster included!!

Very nice pictures. It will be light summer line for me, Sail Barge will be my only purchase. Looking forward to the rumored Ewok Village...plan on saving my money from the summer line and purchase two when the set gets released.

I must say I don't really think I need any of these sets, which is a relief for me since I still plan to but the UCS Xwing and the Jabbas Palace/Rancor Pit combo.

I like these sets but I already have the original sail barge and the 2nd version of the gunship, so I think my pocketbook is safe this round.

What's the purpose of the advent calendar having Zam Wessel's ship, but not the one Anakin and Obi Wan use? And the Gunship is the same as what we had in the first calendar. Plus could anyone tell me which ship is the 2nd from the left, bottom row. It looks like a smaller droid fighter.

What makes even less sense is the Clone wearing a CW helmet (and has a regular torso), and that the AT-TE is photographed backwards..

Sorry but the AT-TE is facing front in both pictures!

*Ah, I think you mean the one in the advent calendar!

Amazing pics! This year's SW sets are going to be bigger for me than last year's. Gonna have to start putting pennies in the jar...

Yep, everything I said was about the advent calendar :)

Okay, the high res pic of the Advent Calendar box reveals some subtle humor. The box for the Clone Trooper helmet reads "Kamino Hat Co.", whereas the Droid box reads "The Jawa Trading Co." Personally, I still can't get over the suggestion I read when we first got pics at Toy Fair: the boxart would be a great deal more morbid if little Boba was unwrapping his dad's helmet!

Thank you for the pictures! Yes, this will be a pricey summer for sure. All of the AOTC sets are on my list and looking pretty good. Very excited for the Gunship and AT-TE, since the last ones I have are from '02 and '03.

I'm not so sure about the Calendar, though. I think they are overpriced, but I've been able to get the last two year's sets half off, and I do enjoy the daily builds during the holidays. And I really want the lil Boba fig!

Has anyone figured out what the symbol is on the wings of the E-Wing / JEK 14 Stealth Fighter?

Well, I ordered the X-wing for my birthday present (in October).

Ritz Brick, that ship is the Solar Sailer.

It seems to be the same icon that some of the rebel pilots have on there helmets in episode IV (a new hope) what the meaning is, is not known to me!

Really like the new Nikto Guard. Its nice to see Lego is expanding upon the different species of alien minifigures. He doesn't look too Clone Wars-y either and should fit in nicely with the rest of Jabba's crew.

I don't think that's an AT-TE, but it's an AT-OT, for the dropship in the next day to pick it up. I'm going to assume that's a mistake with the picture of the clone.
