The Kid Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Accessing the landing pages for the summer sets on S@H Germany and changing region brings up prices in other currencies rather than the usual 'product unavailable in this region' message, which suggests they'll be available to order in other (European) countries soon too. (US and Canada does indeed bring up 'page not found'.) Can't help but balk at some of the UK prices as usual. £100 for the Sail Barge, £110 for the RGS, etc. and £60/€70 for Jek-14's fighter? Bit of a hefty price tag for a set that people will have little connection with... Still, at least the Tank Droid is a reasonable £20. Even if the Homing Spider Droid has gone up £10 on the last version simply due to a smaller droid being included. Boo-urns. TK Quote
snefroe Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 well i'm a bit puzzled as to why Lego decided on selecting this model as the next lego sw set. It doesn't look all that special to me, really. Quote
AudiBobaR5-D2 Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 I'm surprised that the Lego SW 2013 sets on the Lego website hasn't come up with the message "product unavailable in this region". So hopefully these sets in the UK gets released a bit sooner. Well one can hope Quote
Only Sinner Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 I absolutely love the Defender. TOR is a great concept and I like the style the game offers. This will make a fine model, and I might even consider not waiting for a sale..maybe. Quote
Csacsa234 Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 (edited) Finally the Defender!!! Im in love It looks beautiful, as a big TOR fan I'll definetely get it. The new sith warrior is awesome! The consular is a great fig too, The Zabrak's face although looks a bit weird but his armour is nice. It's a little shame that the 4th fig is not new, but another sith trooper is always good in the army. The ship itself is very nice, also looking at the pictures I'm curious how the figs fit in the cocpit. Also one more negative point is that the cocpit is open on the back, but looking at the bright side they don't need an air conditioner. Anyway the ship is gorgeus and I have to say it's one of my favorite ships from TOR. Edited May 10, 2013 by Csacsa234 Quote
8BrickMario Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 The "New and Hard to Find" tag is referring to the Mirialan, the Zabrak, and the Sith. Not the trooper. Quote
The_Creator Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 75025- I really like the overall design and look of the ship, but $100 is to much for me! Quote
Csacsa234 Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 The "New and Hard to Find" tag is referring to the Mirialan, the Zabrak, and the Sith. Not the trooper. I just figured it out sorry Quote
Legoman123 Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 I think there is quite a bit more interior that they haven't showed us yet :) Quote
Borex Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 "awesome minifigures that Defender has" would Yoda say Quote
DrasticPlastic Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Summer wave in may? Ace! Although big wait till the winter 2014 wave... Anyway, any mileage in ordering from the German s@h site if you don't happen to live in Germany - would such an order just get cancelled ? Quote
Cyberbricker Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Looks great, I don't play or follow SWTOR but will still get it as I did with the other stuff from TOR to support the line. :) Quote
Diggydoes Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Are the Wheels on the Defender the same ones that were used on the UCS Star Destroyer? http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2573 These are pretty rare and it would make it much easier to Bricklink the Star Destroyer in Light Bluish Grey! Quote
Moexy Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 When can we expect the Defender to be released? Together with the summer line? I really like how this turned out! Big fan of TOR :) That Sith Warrior and that lightside Zabrak look great! Quote
Chills Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Are the Wheels on the Defender the same ones that were used on the UCS Star Destroyer? http://www.bricklink...Item.asp?P=2573 These are pretty rare and it would make it much easier to Bricklink the Star Destroyer in Light Bluish Grey! WOW those are expensive!! Buying 3 of those that you'd need for the ISD is about the retail cost of the entire set. Quote
8BrickMario Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Minifig close-ups: The Consular (Mirialan) is my favorite, and makes me want a film redesign of Luminara. The fact that the Consular is unnamed bugs me, as I have no idea if she is generic or actually has a name in SWTOR. Interesting that the Sith Warrior uses shortos, with 3L lightsaber bars. There is also a Sith Holocron in the set, with a trans-red 1x1 in the middle instead of a trans-blue. Interesting. Quote
Faefrost Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 That Sith fig makes me feel almost prescient for using the CMF Series 8 Robot head and torso as a TOR Sith Warrior http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3626bpb792 Quote
