AudiBobaR5-D2 Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 With the new sail barge set. I was hoping for another astromech droid which was in ROTJ before arriving to the sarlacc pit. Quote
hachiroku Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Well, I see cool the new Sail Barge. I like the new front part, but it´s soon to analyze. Quote
wesker Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 I agree that they'll redesign the body, probably adding more detail. However I doubt both the printed arms and shoes, just because Lego tends to avoid those things (Granted it still happens from time to time so there's the chance). And I definitely think we will get a new hairpiece. Really I'm tired of seeing that same braid piece they seem to use all the time. I could see them reusing the Tamina braid, but I would prefer a new piece entirely just because we lack a good looking braid hairpiece (Sorry that Tamina hairpiece just looks bad to me ). I hope we get a new hairpiece too. Although if she doesn't, I hope she uses the Ceremony Leia hair over the Tamina one. The ponytail might not be braided but the overall look is a lot more accurate. Kez Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 The animated series of Yoda Chronicles (I'm sorry if I have posted this in the wrong place) http://starwars.lego.com/en-us/Blog/Details/Default.aspx?id=471742&pageno=1 Yoda has just announced on his blog an official date of launch for The Yoda Chronicles: This will be January 5 2013. Here is the video once more Quote
Pumpkin Pie Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 If anyone has purchased the Umbaran MHC and the Headhunter, could you tell me which one is better 'cause I'm trying to decide which one I want to buy first. Quote

I just got both yesterday and it really is a touch pick. The figures in both sets are great, not really a fan of the Umbarans, but they're great nonetheless. TLG did an amazing job with both Krell and the new Ahsoka. I would say the MHC was a slightly better buy because the Headhunter really feels like a dumbed down ARC-170 starfighter without the opening wings. Quote

TheLegoDr Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 So if only LEGO would release a cool Lando like that one in the video. Maybe a May the 4th exclusive?? Just kidding. But speaking of that, when do we normally find out what the unique figure is during the May the Fourth celebration?? I have only followed LEGO SW in 2012, so I don't have past years knowledge. Thanks. Quote
Cyberbricker Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 Then it makes sense to include him, if he re-appears in Star Wars VII ! :) (of course I knew what the Newly Reformed Republic means, but maybe you read about him in some kind of book) Oh sorry. :p I still think its strange to include him on the barge , the palace would have been more logical. strangely Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 I still think its strange to include him on the barge , the palace would have been more logical. It would have been more logical, but I don't think they had the room for him. More than likely Max Rebo will come with his piano (Or whatever that thing is called). After all there's like no point where we see him without it. Ultimately he would have crowded an already crowded set. Quote
North Lego Star Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 I think lego's whole point in including Max Rebo in the Sail Barge is to have a play-feature in the Sail Barge, because I don't think lego wants to have the same interior as thr last Sail Barge, so in this Sail Barge they'll have a Piano area for Max Rebo to be at making the Sail Barge a bit Different for the last one. Thanks. I known last year we got the information about TC-14 in like April and we found out about the Shadow ARF Trooper through the release of the lego May Calander in I believe late March. So hopefully we see information about the May the Fourth be With You exclusive minifig around the same time this year. My hopes are high that it will be Dexter since they now have a model for his species. Quote
Brickity Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 Pete Corp from Flickr made an interesting custom slave Leia a few years ago: Quote

Looking at the RGS the fig with a darker torso could be a EP II C-3po as he was in the arena at the time. I know it sounds unlikely, maybe he could be the May the fourth promo fig. Quote
HawkLord Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 Oh sorry. :p I still think its strange to include him on the barge , the palace would have been more logical. The Barge is pretty logical because Lego needed another selling point to a redesigned set like that and the Palace already had alot of new minifigures going for it. Quote
Pumpkin Pie Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 I really want a special fig for may the 4th cause C-3PO or Jango as an exclusive would be kind of annoying cause it would be hard to get. Quote
wesker Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 The only way I ever see Jango being an exclusive promo figure is if he has a chromed variant like Vader and C-3PO. He's just too big a character not to be included in regular sets. Quote

I'd love an episode 2 C3po. Really we need variations for Episodes 1,2 and a variation with his wiring straightened (Which I think is episode 6 specific if I remember correctly). We have movie specific variations for just about everyone at this point, C3po deserves at least a couple more. For the may the fourth figure I do think it will definitely be Ep 2 specific. I'd guess Jango, but oddly I can't help but hope for a Jocasta Nu figure. Quote

North Lego Star Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 (edited) The May the Fourth Be With You exclusive minifig is usually one that lego will never release in a regular set. So because I doubt lego will ever make a Dexter's Dinner set, I would hope to see Dexter. For the may the fourth figure I do think it will definitely be Ep 2 specific. I'd guess Jango, but oddly I can't help but hope for a Jocasta Nu figure. I could also see her being the exclusive minifig too or even a Jedi Knight from Geonosian Battle, A special version of Anakin or Padme, or possibly some random senator or seperatist. @Super Brick Collector- Sadly there will be no stromtroopers or Imperial Troopers of an kind next wave as there is only one OT set unless the Summer Exclusive sets are OT, but there will probally be some Battle Droids and Geonsian Battle Droids in the Summer Wave! Super Brick Collector Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Looking back these past 2 years there's a serious lack of battle droids in sets. I hope next summer we can get some battle droids and stormtroopers. Quote

I hope next summer we can get some battle droids and stormtroopers. Thank goodness. I've got way more than enough battle droids. I'd be fine if I never got another battle droid in a set. As a minifigure collector and not an army builder, I feel like my 30 battle droids are plenty. Quote

As a minifigure collector and not an army builder, I feel like my 30 battle droids are plenty. I feel the opposite because I'm mainly an army builder. When the Clone Wars animated TV show first came out, the CW sets mainly had generic Battle Droids and Clones. It was especially apparent in 8014 when the Clone Commander was just a regular clone trooper with commander gear. Now TLG has moved away from this by releasing more specialized clones and droids. I kind of like it and hate it at the same time. More unique figures are always welcome, but in an army layout, it looks very ugly with a whole bunch of different colors. Quote
