The party heads north, discovering another fork. Will they go south, north, or east?

The party heads east for quite a while, turning left then right before reaching another junction. Will they go east, west, or south?

Before Nessa can pull out her compass, Dreyrugr rejoins the party from just ahead of them.

"I found a chest which has been down here for Ennoc knows how long still in good shape, it had a riddle on it but I couldn't solve it. From where I just came I heard voices up ahead and for some reason this sewerage system has a lot of loops in it. Whoever made it must've figured it would be well travelled to make it loop so much." Dreyrugr draws a map of the structure of the maze he knew so far.

"Over in the top left is where I found the chest and down the bottom right here I heard voices as I was moving down. While I didn't travel all the paths it seems rather obvious a lot of them loop."

"Excellent. I suppose that makes sense. We should still check most of them out, I say. Let's return to the place we first parted."

"And go straight (East) instead of North."

"Shall we go to the top left and find out if we can open the chest? If there are more of us, we may be able to piece it together. It may be the treasure those treasure-hunters were seeking for. Vampire, may I finally take that Shako off your hands?" I sound a bit exasperated at this point.

The heroes return to where the party first split, then heads east - running straight into a large, crumbling boulder blocking their path.

Sorry Pala. I finally get my post up, and you ninja me... :hmpf_bad::tongue:

I use my pick axe on the boulder, if it doesn't give way, we go north and then turn east.

"I wonder if there's a different between the walls with smooth tops and the walls that have lumpy tops." :innocent:

"Monk, would you mind using your pickaxe to remove those boulders?" Nessa asked sarcastically friendly.

OOC: Pala, you have been too fast

"Oh I see, you finally are." She said as Monk Pretzel took out his 'pickaxe'.

The boulder cracks loudly, and bits of stone fall from it. It's damaged, but not destroyed.

I swing again.

Any of you fellows have a pick axe of your own to help?"

"Druid, help me out here."

If we don't make significant progress in cracking the boulder, we try north and east.

I nod at the vampire and equip the Shako.

"Nessa. Take this Tricorne, you haven't received too much in the way of loot this quest, and it should serve you better than that Ranger's cowl you presently wear. However, for the duration of this quest, I would advise that you loan it to Erik while Erik hands you the Emerald Hood he's borrowing from the Druid. There's no reason for Erik to be doubly immune to fragilization."

"Oh, certainly, yes. Thanks. But please tell me, why are you that kind? For I, as it seems to me, recently haven't been." Nessa asked as she gave the Tricorne to Erik and equipped the Emerald Hood instead of her cowl.
