"Look, sorry miss, but Pretz needs to go last so he can see if he should attack Big Red or use his scroll, so if I targeted Little Red to stop her hitting you, you'd just get hit by Reg, which would knock you out, whereas we know that you can survive being hit by the girl, even if it hurts a bit. Maybe next round if the scroll works we can see what can be done about reducing the damage you're taking. Besides, after this battle we might hopefully have a chance to rest and heal back in the gnome town." If we Blind Big Red, he wouldn't heal himself on rolls of Damage, right?

No, only sealing would prevent his healing. Blinding doesn't do anything - it'd be like blinding a Sage, or sealing Nessa. Effect's there, it just doesn't do anything.

But Blinding and Sealing works differently for enemies. Sealing prevents their special damages and Blinding prevents their regular Damage.

Blinded - The enemy misses on every DAMAGE rolled for it for three rounds. This also applies to Free Hits.

Sealed - The enemy misses on every SPECIAL DAMAGE rolled for it for three rounds.

But Blinding and Sealing works differently for enemies. Sealing prevents their special damages and Blinding prevents their regular Damage.

Yes, but he's not dealing Damage or Free Hits. He's healing enemies instead of them. And you can't exactly miss healing.

Still, it's unfair to get around rules like that, so yes, blinding affects him.

How does the Scroll of Disenchantment work? It's a 50/50 chance of being successful on rolls of 1, 2, or 3, correct?

"We won't be able to deal with these free hits much longer while still dishing out a substantial amount of damage, so here is my proposal:

Battle Order:

>Pretzel: Neutralizer

>Dreyrugr: Big Red (Crow Claw Dagger)

>Nessa: Big Red (Silver Crossbow)

>Sylph: Heal Pretzel

This will prevent Reg from being a serious damage dealer, but works towards my next plan:

If I'm not correct the scroll just has a one out of four chance of working. (roughly speaking) :look:

"That's a possibility, but I feel my mental strength running low. Really the neutralizer is more or less just for Reg's benefit. I'd rather not delay the plan unnecessarily and it would be wasteful to paralyze someone and then cure them with the neutralizer, but what does the rest of the party think?"

I'd really appreciate if you guys would try to speak up more if you have ideas. I've been sick and hardly able to get on the last couple of days, but I've said more than some of you. :sceptic:

Pretzel actives a neutralizer. The entire enemy party seems put-out. Big Red is stabbed in the back (and pickpocketed) by Dreyrugr, so his scrambles away and continues to heal himself, though now unable to restore any ether should he run out....but the party is losing steam.

Dying here isn't worth anything." Sylph stated, silently but authoritatively. "If I can't heal us all this round, Pretzel or Nessa, you must throw the bomb. Dreyrugr, before we leave, see if you can't snatch the high-elf's stash."

Pie, Dreyrugr doesn't have his armour equipped, and Black knight shield makes him stunned.

Also, what does Difurs first special do if the target already only has 1 HP?

Erik spits out blood. Luckily his parry had taken most of Difurs axe blow, but it'd still hit hard enough to knock Eriks own weapon into his face.

"Yeah, we ain't got no more neutralizers, but we aint dead yet. Pretzel can hit Difur and take hits from Reg until Amadea grows a beard, so we're fine there. I'll hit Feldorin with my Titanic Axe and take the hit from Little Red, which'll do for this round, and provided you can get Drey healed up, he can take Gontzo."
