Dannylonglegs Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 I'll throw you a bone, it won't damage the Black Knight's Armor. Sweet! Roll with the plan then! Battle Order: > Pretzel: Disenchant > Dreyrugr: Smelling Salts on Sylph > Pretzel: Grand Tonic > Sylph-Bondy > Sylph-Gonzo >Nessa: Smelling Salts >Nessa v. Difur > Erik v. Little Red (if Revived)
Vash the Stampede Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 OoC: I feel like the 62ers must have while fighting Fleur. No, we have two healers on this quest and one is a druid. On 62 we had none, and were on a countdown timer, and couldn't flee without worrying about extra effects. Nice to see you on this side of the battle though. Dreyrugr's muscles were sore and couldn't move but he saw the barbarian fall. He seemed hardy enough to get back up later but the rest of the party would definitely take it out on the enemy. "He did want to buy the Hunters Plate Armour from me, but considering how vulnerable he seems to be and how he always gets stunned when he's not using the Black Knight's Armour, I almost wondered if he had changed his mind." "The Hunters Plate Armour was for when I use a different fighting style. I definitely wouldn't wear it for when I repeatedly slash the enemy like this." I have a feeling I'll be running low on stuff by the time this quest is over. Dreyrugr uses smelling salts on Sylph.

Palathadric Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 I hate to say it, but Gontzo should have dealt 23 damage to Sylph, since he's ranged. "Well, I have to say that things could have gone worse. At least the Scroll worked. I am beginning to like this scroll and have no intention of selling it."
Palathadric Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 "Should I attack Gontzo with my Heavy Flail while you patch up Dreyrugr? Or should Dreyrugr target him immediately. I wouldn't worry too much about healing Nessa just yet as she isn't in any immediate danger. You should definitely heal yourself Druid. At this point, I can take anyone's free hits besides Gontzo's, so we can leave one of the heavier damage dealers to pound against my shield. The demon can hold off the girl's free hit easily too. Battle Order: >Pretzel: Heal Dreyrugr >Dreyrugr: Gontzo >Sylph: Heal Himself >Sylph: Sleep on Big Red >Pretzel: Reg >Nessa: Difur "What do you think?" By the way, this battle order and these actions are nothing to go by, CMP, if DLL has a different plan, I'll probably follow it.
Dannylonglegs Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 I hate to say it, but Gontzo should have dealt 23 damage to Sylph, since he's ranged. "Well, I have to say that things could have gone worse. At least the Scroll worked. I am beginning to like this scroll and have no intention of selling it." "What do you mean they could have been worse?! Damnit Nessa, you woke up Big Red! What part of 'Keep him unconscious' didn't you get." Stated Sylph, calmly."I could have had more free actions this round, but now I have to put him under again." Battle Order: > Pretzel: Seal Gonzo > Pretzel: Heal Nessa > Dreyrugr: Gonzo > Sylph-Sleep Big Red > Sylph-Sleep Big Red (or Heal Nessa, or, heal Self if Nessa's already healed.) >Nessa v. Feladorin >Nessa v. Difur > Erik v. Little Red (if Revived) (Note: Tripleshot should not target Big Red.)
herrJJ Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 "Yeah, sorry for that", Nessa said casually. Then she aimed for Feldorin and Difur from the back row. OOC: that would only leave Gontzo, Little Red and Reg as possible targets for Nessa
Palathadric Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 (edited) I don't know how triple-shot works and it's not abundantly clear in the rules, but I think it's usually the person right before and right after the person targeted. Edited July 26, 2013 by Palathadric
Myrddyn Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 If Erik is rooted by Sylph, he attacks Little Red from the back row with Titanic Axe.
Palathadric Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 "Is there a reason you're putting my second action before the demons. I would take damage whereas he wouldn't." I Seal Gontzo and then send my rejuvenating powers to heal Nessa. "God, we need your help right about now," I mutter. "What do you mean they could have been worse?! Damnit Nessa, you woke up Big Red! What part of 'Keep him unconscious' didn't you get." Stated Sylph, calmly."I could have had more free actions this round, but now I have to put him under again." "Believe me, things could have been a lot worse."
herrJJ Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 OOC: funny, I thought it was the two enemies after the target who gain damage. At least this is how I think a ranger would attack, just one after the other But I might be wrong as well

herrJJ Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 (edited) "We really should rally up. And I think from now on or at least for the next time we should not use too much magic, savvy? I would suggest we get back Drey and/or Erik. Also I will heal myself - those potions are not that expensive. Everyone who needs healing should take care of himself. Everyone else takes his aim to get those buddies over there down... by the way - I like the elf Anyways, is there anything that stands against this plan? I guess magic hasn't brought us to where we wanted to be." Edited July 27, 2013 by herrJJ

I should have closed the round." it was true that the fault rested on himself for not casting sleep after Nessa attacked Feladorin, but if he had done so, Nessa could have been KO'ed as well... wasting a hastening among other things. "Dreyrugr. We'll revive Dreyrugr. The sooner he robs the slug the better. Not to mention Erik's Shield is more destructive than Nessa's, and keeping Big Red comatose is crucial to our eventual success. Yes, magic hasn't brought us there yet, but without it we'd be lying dead in the gutter... Or, well, some of us anyways." Battle Order: > Pretzel: Seal Gonzo > Pretzel: Bondy (with Flail) >Nessa: Revive Dreyrugr > Dreyrugr v. Gonzo >Nessa v. Difur > Sylph-Sleep Big Red > Sylph-Sleep Big Red (or Heal Self.) > Erik v. Little Red (if Revived) (Note: Tripleshot should not target Big Red.)
Myrddyn Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 (edited) Drey's petrified, not dead. Remedies or nurture. I really think we should blind Big Red. Here Pie said blinding works on his damages and free hits, unless i've completely misunderstood it. If rooted, Erik attacks Little Red from the back row with Titanic Axe. CMP Posted July 28, 2013 Author Posted July 28, 2013 (Note: Tripleshot should not target Big Red.) Why wouldn't it?
Dannylonglegs Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Why wouldn't it? Has it changed or has it always said next two after it? Either way you're right. Derp. Drey's petrified, not dead. Remedies or nurture. I really think we should blind Big Red. Here Pie said blinding works on his damages and free hits, unless i've completely misunderstood it. If rooted, Erik attacks Little Red from the back row with Titanic Axe. Thanks! "Change of plans." Battle Order: > Pretzel: Seal Gonzo > Pretzel: Heal Nessa >Nessa v. Feladorin >Nessa v. Difur > Sylph-Heal Dreyrugr > Sylph-Heal Dreyrugr (or, if unparalyzed, Sleep Big Red) > Dreyrugr: Gonzo > Erik v. Little Red (if Revived)
