I seem to have a very thin wire around me and Nessa is still on the floor. :devil:

Erik grabs his spear in both hands, and hooks it over the crane hook.

"Erik, test the crane first to ensure that it will be sufficiently strong to hold your weight. How much weight do you assume it can hold, and how heavy are you anyway? Perhaps while the demon lifts you up, you can try to see what is in that cauldron."

What an unusual character. There is certainly more to him than meets the eye. I don't know if I want to find out what though. :look:

Sylph continues pinning down the Blue Assassin

Dreyrugr boosts Erik up onto the crane mechanism, but his spear is far too short to reach the hook. Nessa looks around the immediate area, but is unable to see any rope. A more thorough look around the crates may be in order, however. as Pretzel, encouraged by his drink of mead and poking through the huge amount of pebbles and gravel in the half-barrel, finds a long coil of thick chain behind it...too cumbersome for Nessa's purposes, of course, but perhaps it'd come into use later.

- The Blue Assassin is attempting to escape. The heroes have five ten rounds to reach and engage him in physical combat. The timer will reset after the next engagement ends.

- Rounds are run normally, but heroes have more freedom over their actions, such as examining or moving objects in the environment.

I don't quite follow how the crane works. Are you only putting Erik where he is because the pieces can't hang on the hook? Also, is the platform held up by the chains supposed to be moving? What are the chains holding onto?

Have you read the description? It describes what's going on. As for the second part, they're not moving, and they're attached to the ceiling.

Nessa was not satisfied as she did not find a rope on the ground, so she searched in the barrels a crates to find one and continue her earlier plan.

:facepalm: I got everything else, but I don't know how I missed the first sentence. :wacko: Apologies. :blush:

In the first picture, the platform was to the upper right of the assassin. Now it's directly over. I'm not sure where it's supposed to be, but it kind of effects what I wanted to do.

Feeling encouraged, I hurl my Flying Cross at the Blue Assassin.

That's a combination of the rig to hold it up not being totally stable and a differing camera angle on the shots. It hasn't moved as much as you think it has.

"Can that crane go down any further, demon. Perhaps if you bring the hook a bit lower, Erik would be able to reach it. On the other hand, if it doesn't work, try to see if you can maneuver the cauldron so it tips off the end and crushes our little blue friend. But be wary. I'm not entirely sure how strong those chains are, but let's hope that knocking the pot down won't cause an inbalance and cause the platform to collapse. Druid, do as you will. Perhaps, if you want to keep targeting the assassin, you should fetch a drink at the barrel there. It lifts one's spirit and gives them renewed vigour."

I'm not really sure what to put for battle order until I know what the others will be doing. :sceptic:

I've adjusted the camera angle to make things a little more clear. Also, herrJJ, be more specific when you lay out what Nessa's doing, and try to limit how much she does in one turn. :thumbup:

Dreyrugr lowers the crane as Erik tries to get a better angle on it, but there's still no way he can reach it with his spear. Sylph gulps down a mouthful of mead as Nessa searches through the dark barrel behind the planks. Inside she finds only a ton of wheat, and no rope.

If Dreyrugr winches up the hook before Eriks action, he tries to jump from the hook to the platform with the chains.

Otherwise, he tries to drink some of the mead.

If Dreyrugr attacks Blue, can he later use his flee trait to disengage and go back to the winch?
