Palathadric Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 "That Assassin we've faced I'd say was much more threatening, we can deal with these guys easy enough. Although I think the people attacking the doctors should go in front, don't want an unlucky moment for the doctors to heal anyone." "I thought of that, but one of us will need to go first to eat the free hit." All fellows with ranged weapons: Back Row, Others: Front Row. Simple as that." I follow my battle order action.
CMP Posted September 17, 2013 Author Posted September 17, 2013 (edited) Sorry, you didn't equip any of this stuff beforehand. Adds to suspense, in my opinion. "It is held as tradition in our Order to showeth honor towards an enemy, irregardless of their obvious depravity. The Cardinal believed it would be of some small comfort to ease thine shame." Round One of the Hook on the Other Hand Dreyrugr vs. Crimson Crown Acolyte A (Crow Claw Dagger) - Deflected Damage (20 - 12 = 8 damage, no deflect) >Nessa vs. Crimson Crown Doctor A (Silver Crossbow) - Damage (15/2 - 3 = 5 damage) Erik vs. Crimson Crown Doctor B (Twin Axe) - Extra Critical Hit (30 x 2 x 2 = 120 damage) Pretzel vs. Crimson Crown Acolyte B (Flying Cross) - Critical Hit (30 x 2 x 2 = 120 damage) Soryx vs. Crimson Crown Acolyte C (Vanquisher) - Special Damage: Explosive Shot (Soryx blinded, 5 damage to everyone) >Sylph vs. Crimson Crown Disciple (Spinning Bolas) - Damage (30/2 = 15 damage, Sylph is cursed) Crimson Crown Novice uses free hit on Dreyrugr - (10 - 12 = 0 damage, Dreyrugr poisoned) Dreyrugr is poisoned - (1 damage) Sylph is cursed - (-3 max health) The Crowns won't go down easily. Two of the Acolytes unless a storm of bullets, smoke filled the room and blinded the demon hunter. The Disciple and the Doctor take swipes at Sylph and Nessa respectively. The party's heavy hitters, however, come in swinging, and Erik buries his axe deep into the shoulder of the other Doctor as Pretzel flies in towards the final Acolyte, impaling him with his broomstick. The Novice is unable to hit the Monk, but splatters him with poison nonetheless. Enemies Crimson Crown Disciple "Have at you, impetuous druidic swine!" Myrddyn Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Sorry, you didn't equip any of this stuff beforehand. Adds to suspense, in my opinion. Fair enough. If you don't want me talking for Soryx, tell me and I'll edit his words into Erik's instead. Otherwise I'll stick to tactics. Erik swings at Crimson Crown Doctor A from the front row. "I can take this guy out with a hit, if I'm lucky, and probably survive his attack even if I'm not. Unless you guys'd rather I make a back row attack against the Disciple? See if I can petrify him?" If he's unblinded, Soryx attacks Crimson Crown Acolyte C from the back row. "I'll go back row, I can survive the second doctors free hit, and it'll give you guys some breathing space."
Palathadric Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 (edited) Not that it matters incredibly, but the free hit should have been against Dreyrugr, no, and I didn't think the poisoned would get through even if the hit didn't get passed the shield, but okay. Also, Nessa never took the Tricorn off. Why is it in Pretzel's inventory? Battle Order: >Soryx: --- >Pretzel: Crimson Acolyte B (Flying Cross) (If Pretzel is actually the one poisoned, switch battle order with Dreyrugr) >Dreyrugr: Crimson Crown Disciple (Crow-Claw Dagger or Muckraker) (Depends on what you think is better of Stunned and Weakened for now, perhaps Crow-Claw Dagger is better ) Erik: Crimson Crow Doctor A (Twin Axe) >Nessa: Crimson Crown Doctor B (or One of the Crimson Acolytes?) >Sylph: Heal Himself? "How does this sound? Should the Druid Blind one of the Acolytes instead?" Edited September 17, 2013 by Palathadric

It's fine. Also, Nessa never took the Tricorn off. Why is it in Pretzel's inventory? No idea how I got that messed up. Fixed. That's how it works when heroes that deal effects attack enemeis, no reason it shouldn't change the other way around. And the Tricorne is Pretzel's, Nessa said she returned all borrowed artifacts. Palathadric Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 And the Tricorne is Pretzel's, Nessa said she returned all borrowed artifacts. No, he gave her the Tricorn he didn't loan it to her. It's hers since he got the Shako. Not borrowed.

Vash the Stampede Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 (edited) Dreyrugr attacks the Crimson Disciple from the front row unless a new plan is bought up. Edited September 18, 2013 by Vash the Stampede
Palathadric Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 (edited) So silly! I always forget how the ranged fighters work. One question, how does "blinded" work. Does it prevent Soryx from targeting the Acolyte or just from damaging it? If he can target it, then Dreyrugr goes first in the battle order "Nice hit, Erik! One down, how many left to go. Vicious slice there demon. To be honest I was worried that you'd switch allegiance now that it is your relations fighting us. But I guess God always pulls through in the end and changes hearts, even ones fully set to do evil. "Demon, neither Erik nor Nessa can take a hit from the Acolytes, so it seems like me and you will have to fight them. Soryx, it looks like you may need to eat up another hit." Battle Order: Dreyrugr: Acolyte B >Pretzel: Acolyte A >Erik: Doctor >Nessa: Disciple >Sylph: Heal Self or Sleep/Blind? Soryx: Acolyte C Edited September 18, 2013 by Palathadric
Palathadric Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 "Okay, adjusted the battle order accordingly. Any better ideas folks?"
Myrddyn Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Soryx attacks Crimson Crown Acolyte C from the back row with Vanquisher. Erik attacks Crimson Crown Doctor B from the front row with Twin Axe. I think Dreyrugr should have done 68 more damage. 17 extra because of lost health, x2 (encouraged) x2 (darkness) Vicious slice there demon. To be honest I was worried that you'd switch allegiance now that it is your relations fighting us. "I thought they were just wearing masks."
Palathadric Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 "Look at their faces, nothing but death in there. Just like our counterpart."

Myrddyn Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Erik attacks Crimson Crown Doctor B from the front row. Soryx Favours Humanoids and attacks Crimson Crown Acolyte C from the back row. I'll be unable to post for about five days, sorry. Anyone can control Erik and Soryx in battle. Using consumables is fine. Also, feel free to change these actions I've just posted.

Dannylonglegs Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Sorry guys. Sooooooo many tests. "I suggest you heal my Druid, please." Chirped a small voice in Nessa's ear. She turned around to see a small bat fluttering politely. "Your words are wise." Spoke the Druid upon getting up. I'll blind the Acolyte A.
Vash the Stampede Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Dreyrugr attacks Acolyte B from the front row.
