I have no idea what to do. DLL, where are you when I need you?

Battle Order:

>Pretzel: Equip Strategist Shako

Soryx: Doctor

Dreyrugr: Crimson Crow Acolyte B

>Nessa: Novice

>Sylph: Blind Acolyte C

>Erik: Bone at Acolyte A

Does this make sense?

Posted

"Okay, party leader. I'll attack the novice from the back until Sylph says any other.

Oh, fighting with you guys is fun." :sweet:

Posted (edited)

It's been well over 24 hours, I'll run the round with your suggested actions, Pala.

Round Five of the Hook on the Other Hand

>Pretzel equips Strategist's Shako

Soryx vs. Crimson Crown Doctor B (Vanquisher) - Special Damage: Healing Balm (Acolyte B restored to full health)

Dreyrugr vs. Crimson Crown Acolyte B (Crow Claw Dagger) - Special Dodge: Explosive Shot (Dreyrugr blinded, 5 damage to everyone)

>Nessa vs. Crimson Crown Novice - Shield: Tripleshot (48 damage to Novice, Disciple, and Doctor)

Sylph blinds Crimson Crown Acolyte C - Success (Acolyte C blinded, -1 ether)

Erik uses Bone on Crimson Crown Acolyte A

Crimson Crown Disciple uses free hit on Pretzel - (30/2 - 12 = 3 damage)

Crimson Crown Acolyte C uses free hit on Soryx - (No effect, blinded)

Dreyrugr is poisoned - (1 damage)

Pretzel is cursed - (-3 max health)

The party has a rough round, one acolyte being healed by the doctor and then unleashing yet another round of fire on the heroes. Sylph takes advantage of the smoke, causing it to hover into one of the acolytes' hood, and even as the Novice watches, Nessa narrows her eyes at him, unleashing a trio of bolts into the crowd of red. One of the acolytes gets hits in the head by a bone tossed by Erik, and the Disciple continues to pursue the party's would-be pacifist monk.

OOC: Why did the Novice die? Triple shot does not triple the damage output but attacks three enemies in a row. Or did you counted it like this because it was the last enemy in the order and there is technically no next foe?

Yeah. I believe that's the way it's run when this is the case.

Have you been rolling for the "stunned" chance on Dreyrugr's Crow Claw Dagger? I don't think he's stunned anyone this whole quest. :look:

Soryx: Acolyte A

Dreyrugr: Acolyte B

>Nessa: Potion (Erik)

Erik: Novice A

"How's this?"

Commerz Cannonball: Can be lobbed an an enemy for a guaranteed 10 damage. Has a 1 in 6 chance of stunning the enemy or a 1 in 6 chance of confusing the enemy.

He's barely been hitting anything this whole Quest. Yes, I've been rolling for it.

I've been hitting a bit, unless you mean with just the dagger.

I meant with the dagger, but that's mostly just because you haven't used it in a while. I have been rolling for stun, though, it's just almost never worked.

Dreyrugr vs. Crimson Crown Acolyte B (Crow Claw Dagger) - Special Dodge: Explosive Shot (Dreyrugr blinded, 5 damage to everyone)

>Nessa uses Potion on Erik - (10 health restored)

Erik vs. Crimson Crown Novice A (Twin Axe) - Extra Critical Hit (40 x 2 = 80 damage)

Crimson Crown Disciple uses free hit on Pretzel - (30/2 - 12 = 3 damage, Pretzel cursed)

Crimson Crown Acolyte C uses free hit on Soryx - (No effect, blinded)

Pretzel is cursed - (-3 max health)

At Sylph's urging and using his last ether, vines and ivy grow through the ceiling, evidently from the potted plants he saved earlier in Vaughn's room. The keep the party on their feet as they whittle down their enemies, Pretzel ruthlessly bombing the Doctor and Erik nearly decapitating the Novice.

A couple things: the Novice should be Ko'ed as Erik's regular hit would have dealt 80 damage, so a Extra Critical one should have dealt more than that. Also, I don't think you deducted health from Sylph. One last thing is that due to the 50/50 glasses, Sylph's scrolls should last an extra round, I don't believe you took that into effect...or?

Battle Order:

>Pretzel: Acolyte A

>Erik: Lighter Armour

>Nessa: Acolyte A (B if Dead)

Soryx: Acolyte A (B if Dead)

>Dreyrugr: Acolyte B (Nothing if Acolyte B already Targeted)

>Sylph: Tonic

"Thank you, Druid! None too early either. Charge, gentlemen. With three members of their clann down. We are in the lead!"

How much of a multiplier does "Favouring" give? x3
