Bob De Quatre Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Amazing build !! The "animals" are really well made, but we don't quite see the aquatic creature. Quote
Koptokaff Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 I love it! I love all the animals, especially the rancor. I think it is a bit cruel to show of ewok´s in a zoo? ... Great idea, and very welldone. Quote
Pop Bumper Pete Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Love the Rancor Are you keeping the Ewoks for food for him? Quote
fatfrog2596 Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Loving the Bantha and concept! The statue's a nice addition as well. Quote
M<0><0<DSWIM Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 This is all-around impressive! Love how detailed this is and that Rancor is beautiful! Just need more pics of it. Quote
Savage_opress Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 This is so cool and impressive and all that adjectives! It's a great work on this MOC. Congrats Quote
Lego Chris Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 This is really well done. I love the mix of our world and the Star Wars world. The only thing I would have liked to see is a souvenir and/or food vendor. Quote
jamie75 Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 (edited) Very Star Wars, but, at the same time, very Jurassic Park, IMO! Lots of cool details. What is the creature in the water? Maybe change it out for a Dianoga or 2. Great build, Jamie Edited May 25, 2013 by jamie75 Quote
Chills Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 +1, what's in the water? Fantastic build! I love all of the detail, especially the Emperor and Vader cleaning the bantha droppings. The rancor's detail is awesome, and I love how he's about to eat Jar Jar. LOL. This MOC looks like you can add more "animal exhibits" anytime. Like a krayt dragon, an aviary with some mynoks, and a snow scene with a wampa and tauntauns. Such a cool idea. Can't wait to see what else you'll do with it. Quote
MikroMan Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Nice Rancor an Banthas. But, really, why keep Ewoks inside a zoo fence Also, I like the way you made floor in different enclosures, with different shades and stuff. Quote
Wedge09 Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Reallynice work  Very well made and detailed Quote
Borex Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 hahah funny MOC! Eat that gungan rancor! But i don't have a clue what's in the water? Quote
naugem Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 This MOC is amazing, an the creatures are particularly cool. Quote
markus1984 Posted June 4, 2013 Author Posted June 4, 2013 hi guys, Big thanks for the great Feedback!!! Round1 is done with the maximum of Points 25/25. Regarding the question "what is in the water" Unfortunately the time run out and I had to build faster! It should be the water monster from Episode 1 see you next round ciao markus Quote
Brickdoctor Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 Rancors eating Gungans! Ewoks kept in a zoo! You've done a great job of almost whimsically interpreting the concept of the ‘Star Wars Zoo’. Yes, there are canon zoos and other animal exhibits in the Star Wars EU, but the concept still seems to be one conceived in jest rather than something that has a connotation of seriously being something that fits into Star Wars, to me. This MOC seems to have the best of both worlds, including the jokes but doing so within a structure that looks very Star Wars-ish. And of course there’s the pure building skill in this build, too. The Rancor and Banthas are beautifully sculpted. The greebling is tastefully done. And the landscaping is perfectly integrated into the mechanical, used-universe constuction. Quote
Bilbo Baggins Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 This is amazing, I love the brick-built Rancor. Quote
Jimosaurus Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 Reminds me of jurassic park, and I love how the vaders are cleaning up after banthas. That gave me a little chuckle. Quote
