Lego Otaku Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Here's a suggestion particularly for one who has multiple countries allowed, how about including the store's country in the result page? Either in form of letters like USA or with country flag? That way user could scan through a few combinations to see if they can find a combination of countries that suited better (cheaper shipping for example) or something? Quote
Pat-Ard Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Hi folks, I solved the problem. There were too many wanted lists on my user account... Deleted some of them and now it works... Pat Quote
rockethead26 Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 I just downloaded the latest version (v0.95) off the Brickficiency site and I can't get past the login for importing a list from Bricklink. I am using the proper login and password, but the information window just says "logging in...". Waiting for 5 minutes or more and nothing changes. Clicking the Next button and "Logging In..." disappears from the information window. Clicking again on the Next button does nothing and the Login window stays until I close it. Tried it both while logged in to BrickLink and while logged out. I'm on a Win 7 64-bit machine. Any ideas? Quote

mdoupe Posted August 14, 2014 Author Posted August 14, 2014 Do you guys have more than 1000 items on your wanted lists? You can check at this URL: http://www.bricklink.com/wantedDetail.asp?viewFrom=wantedSearch&wantedSize=1000 (it'll say "xxxx items found" up at the top) Quote

No, I have only 74 items found, many of which, however, are in requested lots of 30-100. Quote
mdoupe Posted August 14, 2014 Author Posted August 14, 2014 Can you download the test version here: https://docs.google.com/uc?export=download&id=0B6HH_wCQ4odGLTFKT0NrcnlTWTA I think it should pop up an error instead of just hanging now. if you can send me a screenshot of that it may help. Also, if anyone has downloaded 0.95 before this very moment, you should do a database update (under the tools menu). The database was horribly out of date, but I just updated it this morning. Quote
rockethead26 Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Thanks, I'll try this in about an hour and post my findings. Quote

rockethead26 Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Can you try updating the database under the tools menu? When I do that, I get a popup that says that the database is xxxxxxx days old and then I click update. The popup disappears and there is no indication that anything is happening. How long should it take on a medium fast cable network to download the database? After 5 minutes, nothing. My options to import a wanted list or a LDD file are grayed out as is the option to reload the database. Quote
mdoupe Posted August 14, 2014 Author Posted August 14, 2014 Are you at work? it doesn't seem to do anything for me on my work computer. I believe it has something to do with redirected profile folders in windows, but I have not had time to look into it. Quote

mdoupe Posted August 14, 2014 Author Posted August 14, 2014 I'm going to put a note up on the site in a while, but 0.95 is broken. There is a requirement that is not bundled with the exe. I'll have to include the required file, but it's going to take a while to get that done. For now, please use verion 0.94. Quote

Kierna Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Hello doupe, thank you for your persisting efforts to make this program work well. I'm having a problem with Brickeficiency though, and I'd like to ask for any help. When I import my bricklink wanted list, many items import as coulour "not applicable". The wanted list has all correct and available parts/colours. Has anyone encountered this problem before? -Kieran Quote

The wanted list has all correct and available parts/colours. This issue is finally fixed in the next release. I finally tracked down this issue as happening to any item with brackets in the name. :) Not sure when the next release will be finished. I'm still working on some broken dependancies. Quote

Cool, I'll make a donation when the program works and saves me time/money When I double click the coulour "not applicable" part, and make it the coulour I want, the picture on the part list changes to a different part. Will this affect the wanted lists? Quote
mdoupe Posted August 19, 2014 Author Posted August 19, 2014 Nope, it's an import only. The next release has an export to wanted list feature, though. Quote

Going to go look for 0.94 now! Thanks for the support! Will definitely pay when this is ironed out. I for the life of me can't figure out why there isn't a tool like this in bricklink itself! Maybe because it would probably favor certain sellers all the time! ***Edit: Looks like your page is down right now! Edited August 20, 2014 by jrathfon Quote
Kierna Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Hi again mdoupe, I'm getting an error scrolling report in the grey box during processing. It stops calculating and says "Error downloading price guide: got price guide but had nothing on it" or something along those lines Ring any bells? Good on your program, I hope it can work the intended magic. I'll negotiate a charitable donation, shareware-style Quote
