okiba75 Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Not to rub it in, but I got the last 8110, at the our local TRU, for $200 this past week. $200 is a very sweet deal! Here in Australia if I saw a new one for $200 I'd buy it in a heartbeat :) Quote

Here in Australia if I saw a new one for $200 I'd buy it in a heartbeat :) The best price I have seen these for was $164 brand new, by the time I went back they had all been sold :( I did get one for $263.20 about a month ago. Bricktrain Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 30% off a 42009 and 25% off a 42025 last week was my best deal in a while. Quote

dsoffers Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Not really sure if it's a bargain but I bought a MISB 8070 yesterday for 120€, same price as Lego wanted for it 3y ago. Now I'm not sure if I'm gonna open it or keep it sealed.. (I'd love to build it but lacking space to display it.) Quote
NevynPA Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 42009's are $199.99 at TRU's near me nowadays...possibly to make room for the coming 42025 Cargo Plane? 9398's are $160.98 - My wife grabbed me the 42009 yesterday while out shopping; I had picked up a 9398 about a week ago. I snagged an 8455 used, complete with directions for $187.53 (free shipping) off ebay. They sold it WITH a mostly complete 8431 that I would have given ~45 for; so it was like getting the 8455 for ~$140! Sorry if I pushed one of you folks out to get it! I forgot to check here first to see if it was being eyed up by anyone. Quote
Appie Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 (edited) Yesterday I bought on marktplaats.nl my second 8466 for € 65,- it arrived today and it is just the model in good condition. I found a 8466 on marktplaats this weekend (though it has been up for a week), however it was listed as a "Lego Off roader" and images were of the B model that was a bit dusty. I placed a bid for 50 euro thinking he would want more. Within in an hour of placing the bid he said "ok". I still couldn't believe it and really thought I was being scammed, but today it arrived. Upon inspection the model isn't as dusty as the pictures made it seem (still going to clean it of course), bricks, 10L pumps and wheels in very good condition and the stickers also in very good condition. In the delivery box there were 3 items besides the car which lucklily didn't fall through the crack at the bottom of the box: 2x 11L flat silver soft axles and the 12L metallic green ribbed hose, which are needed for the A model. Glossing over what big parts are needed for the main model I seem to be missing 2x 2L flat silver ribbed hose, maybe those did fall through crack, but no matter I have them in my own spares. The only thing "bad" (which is pushing it for this deal) is that the instructions have seen better days but they are still usable. Edited May 21, 2014 by Appie Quote

RaYell Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Some of the good dealt I've made with Technic: 1. 8043 for around €180 (used, mint condition with box, unused stickers and instructions) 2. 8275 for around €140 (used, great condition but no box) 3. 42021 for €6 (sealed) Quote
TheItalianBrick Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 42009 for 107£ 42006 for 36£ 9398 for 105£ All new...last week!!!! after the discounts they all went up by 30%!!! Quote
therealjustin Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 (edited) Grabbed an 8051 mint in box for $120 shipped. Not really a deal compared to the MSRP of $39, but cheaper than if I were to buy the parts from Lego which completely shocked me. The total Lego sent to me after compiling the list was nearly $130! How can that be when they released the set four years ago for $40? It will become a custom streetfighter/cafe racer Edited June 11, 2014 by therealjustin Quote
IJsmuts Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 just got an 8448 in mint condition (1 time build > stored away) incl box and little boxes for 80 euros... expecting it tomorrow :D Quote
1974 Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 That is a deal?!? No, BL says 458USD for a new one. I like buying used ones for less than a hundred and then sell the electronics at BL for 3x that Quote

D3K Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 Just missed out on the 1:8 scale Ferrari F1 Racer for 400 NOK (that's 40 UK£)... That means someone else has got a pretty good deal! The tyres alone are more than that on Bricklink! Quote
Kumbbl Posted August 18, 2014 Author Posted August 18, 2014 Ebay Kleinanzeigen? Part of a bigger collection? A friend selling it to you? EBay Kleinanzeigen ... Single offering.. I have no clue why he has offered it for such a low price but i have not complained ;-)... There was only one drawback: i had to pick up the unimog at his home and it was 90 km away.. So i spent a 1,5h car ride but i would say a 50€ 8110 is it worth...;-) Quote
