I think the only Technic purchase I would consider anywhere near a "bargain" is 8043 for €117. That was a very nice price for 1100 Technic pieces amongst which four motors, two receivers, two remotes, four LAs, and as a bonus it's a very complex and interesting model to build.

I think I would have regretted if I wouldn't have bought it.

I recently bought a brick seperator for £1. Does that count? it's proving to be a very useful tool to have.

H

I bought 2 for £.32 (the new orange ones too).

silver champion for 50 USD *oh2* very lucky! I got an 8466 for 200 USD for christmas...last second bid!

But then again it was untouched and in perfect condition...I had fun ruining collectors' dreams by building it

I would guess, getting 8070 for ~70€ and getting 9395 for 50€ were pretty good deals.

Even 8110 for 130€ was a good deal in my opinion.

depends where you live and if you mean sealed or not - in Germany you will get each Unimog at eBay for max 130€... good deals here for used but very good to mint condition are about 90€ (very very good) up to 110€... same for 8070 - very good used (with box etc) you will probably get for about 55 to 60€..

Bought a used(but complete) 8450 The Mission set off of a new user on Ebay for .99 cents.. Guess no one else was comfortable buying from a new user... I was very happy to leave him his first feedback when I received the set...

*huh* Seriously? What was the shipping and how long ago was that?

I am from germany and I am talking about new and sealed boxes.

well, then of course these are good deals...

got today a 8070 for 57€ incl. shipping in near mint condition of parts, instructions and box... good deal too - do not like this set as a model but it is a good parts pool...

Not sure I'd call this a bargain ... even on eBay, I try to give a 'fair' price but, you played by the rules.

A while ago I bought a bunch of parts with power-puller wheels for € 80,- and there was a complete 8466 in it. And a few years ago I bought the 8284 for € 50,- because it had a damaged box.

Definitely the Ferrari F1 Racer 8674:

http://www.brickset.com/detail/?set=8674-1

It used to be on sale for around 140 euros and when I picked it up at a local toy shop, I payed 80 euros. The owner of the store wasn't aware that end of line models will eventually sell itself. I was really pleased to see this model for 80 euros, since 140 was way to expensive (due to Ferrari licensing)

And I made a pretty good deal on the EV3, paying 419 euros for:

  • EV3 Educational version
  • Software License
  • Extra Ultrasonic sensor
