a real bargain: a MINT 8455 backhoe (with perfect box and BI) for just 40€...

But because it's my third one i think i will re-sell it - of course for a "little bit" more... ;-)

I got one too for the same price! Only without box.

Also good bargain was the 8297 for only 50€. Mint with instructions.

Some of the best Technic deals I had were in the 90s. I think it was 1995. Internet just started more or less but still everyone was advertising in local newspapers. I raised a short advertisement that I was looking for LEGO Technic. A 15 or 16 year old boy rang me and told me he had quite a big lot of Technic (I was 18 then). I went to visit him with my dad and he and his mother sorted out the whole lot. Some sets I really was looking for. As I didn't expect that much I first bought set 8856 and 8859 (I always wanted to have one!). I paid him around 55 euros for both. Later I bought the rest of the lot for about 150 euros. The complete trunk of my parents car was stacked with LEGOs! Really nice sets were in it, like 8856 (helicopter), 8853 (wheel loader), 8851 (crawler crane).

I bought some more (smaller lots) later. But in 2005 I guess it was I saw an advertisement on a market place on the internet someone was trying to sell a great lot of Technic and Model Team (like 8860, 5590 and I can't remember what was in this lot). I placed my bid but someone else was overbidding me. Eventually this guy mailed me because he only was interested in set 5590. I already had a copy so I thought it was fine. I paid about 240 euros for the whole lot and sold the 5590 for about 80 euros. That was a good deal! The trunk of my car was full of LEGOs!

These were my biggest bargains. Last year a woman send me an email in which she was asking me whether I was interested in a lot of used LEGO Technic. I asked her for the set numbers and she mailed me a list; 8860, 5580 and a lot more stuff. It was her brothers LEGO but as he wasn't interested in it and didn't had kids his sister could give it to hers. But she told me their kids were having their own LEGO and they weren't interested in 80s stuff at all. All she wanted for the lot was a coupon of 25 euros for her brother so he could buy some music or whatever … The reason why she contacted me was she didn't want to put in on eBay; some resellers might have bought it and sold it again for a lot of money. She wanted it to give to a LEGO fan and then she found my website via Google and she was just living 15 minutes drive from me … That was a good deal and about 75% of the pieces were in good shape.

Sometimes you've to be lucky but these kind of lots are quite rare nowadays. Here's a picture of the lot I bought last year for only 25 euros ...

Can I order from The Netherlands?

Same message here, although all conditions are met (€ 75,- minimum etc). Also tried to increase the cart-total and tried the code on other Lego not currently on sale. Still not working :-\

It's this code.

Edit: hmm, maybe I need to create an account and login first to have the code accepted.

Saw the post with the coupon a couple of hours before I wanted to go and pick up the plane for 100 from karstadt, now I got it for 85. Nice find!

8421 which seems to be complete for £60 which ain't half bad. It needs to be taken apart and cleaned but everything seems to work.

8285 which has less than 10 parts missing for £60. It smells of smoke and needs a cleaning but i was going to disassemble it for parts anyway so it ain't no loss.

Recently got 42000 Grand Prix Racer, 42025 Cargo Plane, 42023 Construction Crew and 42024 Container Truck, all new in box, and for the nice price of £140 + shipping

Of these, the only one I really wanted was 42025, but for £20 more than that set is sold for in stores, I got those three fairly big sets in addition, so I'm pretty happy with the deal :classic:

where else? Don't know how he does it, but he puts together some packs at unbeatable prices!

I take it you got the 8421 and 8285 from finn as well? He originally had 8275 for sale at £65, as well as the big 1:8 Ferrari F1 at £60 as well, but I think they were sold pretty fast... I didn't even get a reply :sweet: Might as well, couldn't have afforded them now anyway.. still, good deal! Sucks about the smoke smell though... :sceptic:

Yup, was an hours drive from Oslo so i was glad i was in Oslo :) Yeah, he sold all his stuff really quick. It strange that the 8421 didn't go earlier. Would have thought that would go first. Glad i didn't have any more cause then i couldn't eat this month :( :P

Yeah it have no idea how he makes those packs. They are crazy
