Redhead1982 Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 No problem, I'll just pay a visit to the station, thought the beers will have to wait than. No need for that, unless you want to keep me company. I can pick Calanon at the station, as Cwetqo will lend me his car. No need too. I was just with redhead1982, and she told me that if the party will get too wild she will take keys from me and go driving around, so I suggested she go and pick calanon on station ;)
Aredhel Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Hello, Ru and I are coming! (We only managed to confirm we could recently). great you can manage to come will be nice to see you again!
Holodoc Posted June 2, 2013 Author Posted June 2, 2013 Last info about the park: As many of you never have visited Legoland Deutschland, there may be one useful information. Unlike the other park, the is some kind of giant PAB in the park, named the "Fabrik". You'll get a vast variety of standard bricks in many colors and some other useful bricks as well. You be well advised to keep the price in mind: 100g = 9€! If you have a MOC in wip status that can be a smooth solution though.
Redhead1982 Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 My only visit to Legoland park was about a year ago, and to add to Holodoc's post about the ''Fabrik'', I spent a lot of my money there, and when comparing to BL prices (keeping in mind large quantities), some type of bricks are a good bargain there despite the 9 eur/100 g. My advice is to keep in mind the weight of the bricks, and go from there. For example, the 1x2 bricks are 0.8 g, which puts a price to a brick at 0.072 EUR. This might be a good price for same rare colours (I got sand green and dark orange last year). In general, light weight bricks are less expensive. Scubacarrot Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 The merlin pass gives 10% off there as well, right?
Holodoc Posted June 3, 2013 Author Posted June 3, 2013 Right! But we'll have spots with even bigger bargain...
Redhead1982 Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 That sounds interesting. Right! But we'll have spots with even bigger bargain...
CopMike Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Hello, Ru and I are coming! (We only managed to confirm we could recently).    !
Lasse D Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 If I'm lucky with "Staub" on the roads, then it will take me 10 hours to drive the 1144 km (I'm taking the scenic route). This will land me at the Leipheimerstr. 7, Bubesheim at 22:30 to 23:03 Wednesday evening. I might also go top speed at the autobahn, but then I will need an extra stop for gas.

Rolli Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Are you hanging out in the Kirchbauernhof on Wednesday evening or what are you planning? I was going to join you not until Thursday but as its just 45min of driving from where I live I'm kind of tempted. Let me know what you're doing!
Cwetqo Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 We surely do plan to do some "networking" on first evening (I can of course just talk for myself, but I think that I will not be only one thirsty)
Holodoc Posted June 3, 2013 Author Posted June 3, 2013 First evening Wednesday: Kirchenbauerhof - socialising!
Lasse D Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Trust me with all the rain there wont be any dust (staub) on the roads here in Germany! or did you mean stau..............? I'm running on slicks. It's very important that the road condition is perfect.

Holodoc Posted June 4, 2013 Author Posted June 4, 2013 Since we are in Munich on Friday who cares if it rains in Günzburg anyway!? This is the weather forecast for Munich, Mr. Smart-pants!
eiker86 Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 (edited) This is the weather forecast for Munich, Mr. Smart-pants! Is Günzburg in Munich? Our weatherfoecaster in Norway says rain from 6 am to 8pm in booth Munich and Günzburg, so that's proberly what Holodoc is saying. Edited June 4, 2013 by eiker86
Redhead1982 Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 I'm checking on Yahoo weather, and it looks fine. It's mostly from 0-20% chance of rain, and 10-20°C low/high temperatures. It's more or less similar prediction from different sources. I hope the south autbahn will be clear of water, I found some news of floods from Chiemsee, which is likely to delay our journey.
Rolli Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Doesn't sound too bad, at least we are lucky in the south not to have the floods. I'll be joining the socializing between 5 and 6, will make a short trip to the Legoland before and join you afterwards. And: No beer for me, I have to drive

No, Günzburg is roughly 100 km away from Munich, but I checked both locations. ... I found some news of floods from Chiemsee, which is likely to delay our journey. Yep, that may be the case, at least the A8 was blocked around Chiemsee today. For further info look here. ... And: No beer for me, I have to drive Alcohol-free beer then? *ducks*
Calanon Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Will somebody be able to drop me off at Günzburg train station at about 6:30 on Sunday please?
