Legonardo Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 (edited) Part 4 Lord Artorious Rex was dining in the hall of the dragon with his two friends deGothia and Leonardo when a messenger arrived. He carried 2 letters, one addressed to the leader of Avalonia. Lord Rex took the letter and read it first to himself and then to his companions. The three talked long about the matter, latter that evening, Rex went to a desk and issued an order to all the provinces of Avalonia. Rex's Decree: All soldiers needed to protect and rebuild the damage by Revolword shall stay, but not a man more. All other Avalonian soldiers are to aid the province of Cornovaria in the mysterious disappearance of many of its civilians. Failure to do so is punishable by death. part 1 part 2 part 3 part 5 legonardo Edited June 1, 2013 by ZCerberus Grammar edit Quote
-Carson Haupt- Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 The dragon is superb! As is the angled floor! Excellent! Quote
Kai NRG Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 That dragon is simply awesome! The flooring is nice as well (though it doesn't give the impression of a well-kept and comfortable fortress!). I do think the walls could use a bit more variation though. There's plenty of texture, but it seems a bit more on the ornament side might improve it? Quote
Kayne Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 I love this! It's a poignant scene, with great details....and like others have said, the dragon is great Quote
soccerkid6 Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Superb dragon! The pieces used as a table cloth work really well Quote
ZCerberus Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 The wall is a little dull, but I think that is fine since it really helps highlight the excellent dragon and the cool table. Quote
Maxim I Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Great! (I originally started with: Great dragon, great wall, great table, ... ) Quote
TheLegoDr Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Where to begin? The dragon is of course amazing. And I will definitely follow this topic to recreate that (if that's okay). Beautiful design. I actually really like the wall. The collection of 1x2s really helps make it more "brick" built. I guess I didn't notice it dull at all. Great piece usage for the table cloth. Very fitting. And I love the candlestick/candle set up, although it is a bit out of scale. But brilliantly designed. I may borrow that sometime too. Keep up the great work! Quote
Garmadon Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Excellent dragon and candle . The usual irregular border is nice also, although (together with the wall) it does not exactly give the impression of a palace. Quote
Gideon Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Nice build, I especially like the dragon on the wall...perfect. The floor is also great, and the wall is ok but I think it's edges and/or top could have been better with som irregularity to match the floor. Photography and post processing top notch as usual.
