Blondie-Wan Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 (edited) One note that I thought was really cool: one of the stickers is a heart with four Aurebesh letters (http://starwars.wiki...m/wiki/Aurebesh). If you look up the letters, it spells out the following: LEIA Aww. Back in the day I bought a total of six copies of the original Ewok Attack (set 7139, from 2002), and one of them is still unopened; I also have one copy apiece of the 2011 version (set 7956) and 2009's The Battle of Endor (set 8038) unopened as well. Now that there's this awesome set, I think I'll keep each of those other three unopened until I get this one, and can have a big Ewokriffic Endor building fest, doing all four sets back-to-back. It'll have to wait a little while, though, as I still don't have the 10188 Death Star and that's my immediate priority as far as extra-large, ultra-expensive Star Wars sets go. Hopefully I'll be able to get that one before too much longer, and then I'll turn my sights to this (well, this and the UCS X-Wing and R2-D2). Edited August 20, 2013 by Blondie-Wan Quote
narbilu Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 The mailman came by no quality time for the misses tonight Quote
narbilu Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Had some time last night and I got 2 out of 3 booklets finished and I must say that some of the techniques are surprisingly fun to build. The trees and the platforms have great detail and a funny character (for instance the three Empire helmets for drums) Compliments on the detailing of the Ewoks, they look great. A must have for every SW fan! Quote
Lynx Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 A must have for every SW fan! And not just SW fans! I have two SW sets from 1999 and a Yoda keychain, but the Ewok Village looks better with every review! Quote
TWP Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 I noticed that fbtb also has their review up (for about a week ) nevertheless, I think that their review is very good and detailed, and, good thing it's written! Quote
kinggregus Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Hi! Would anyone estimate what would be a fair price to buy the set without the minifigs? Or alternatively what is the $ value of all the minifigs in this set in your opinion. I d ideally like to have the parts and instructions but have no special interest over the minifigs. Thanks Quote
Brickus Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Does anyone have a photo of the spare parts of the set. The set says there are 4 green vine pieces in the set, but it only uses 3, and I have a green vine piece left over, does anyone else have this or have I missed something? Also are the eyes on C-3PO supposed to be misprinted because mine looks like the one from the FBTB review. Quote
LegoFjotten Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 No photo, but I also had an extra green vine leftover. This set is fantastic! Quote
Robert_88 Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 (edited) I wasn't really impressed when I saw this set for the first time but now I love it! Edited September 11, 2013 by Robert_88 Quote
