Wow! The angular design and colors are really sweet! Looks great in the light and even more awesome in the dark..... lit up.

Congrats on a fine creation!

This an incredible build. I don't know where to begin: it's futuristic, yet it looks realistic enough to be build in real life today. People could actually work and live n such a building. Incredible job! My hat's off to you!

What an AWESOME creation 'Rook'.........looks actually beyond AWESOME.......Brick On 'Rook' !

unique and quite innovative in the way bricks are stacked in large well detailed sections.

Thanks for front paging this. This MOC set a couple of records for me:

Longest time to build… about 300 hours between September and June.

Tallest structure I’ve built to date… about 6’6”.

First MOC displayed at a Lego Convention.

Number of special purchases… about 18. 2-3 Lego.com orders, 3-4 BrickLink orders, 3-4 TLG sets, and half dozen or more Large PaB cups, and finally a whole PaB box of 1x8 white tiles.

Most number of pieces in a MOC… not even close to sure guessing maybe 20,000.

Number of appearances on The Brothers Brick… looks like four. Two videos about Brickworld, then the tower itself, and Skyskippers that are on its landing pads.

And finally the highest of praise: Sean and Steph Mayo using the Butterfly design, that is in the garden area, for one their creations ( http://www.flickr.co...ocy/8535259302/ ).

Awesome I absolutely love this. Awesome job Rook

Rook, you are a great artist!!!

It was well deserving of a FP Rook, but all your back story makes it all the more impressive and engaging.

Just awesome, the aesthetic... the well everything about this great!!!

It looks so much smaller than that in the photographs, though!

The sculpture/statue looks great in the dark - wonderful integrated lighting!

Wow. That's about all I can say.

Wow. That's about all I can say.

Don't worry that's about all I heard at Brickworld too. "Wow", "oh my...", and "holy sh..."; were the top 3 responses.

Amazing!!! you got some unique design to this whole building, and the details...

Put the ol' beast on the scale this week. 117 lbs.

Robin from Lego Corp guessed about 35,000 pieces. I was thinking about 30,000.

Also I’m guessing about 300-350 hours to build.

Amazingly Awesome Doesn't Even Come Close To Discribing How Truely Amazinly Awesome This Is! I Love It! Very Well Done!

I usually use 300 to 500 pieces per pound in a MOC, so 35000 sounds about right.
