I found this at the LEGO Store today. It's the sequel to the critically acclaimed Wedding Decoration set.

That Clown figure...

I absolutely positively regret being a completionist and skipping on this set today to buy a completely awful Speedorz set.

What do y'all think about this set?

Dat clown...

I'm loving the recolored afro and the print, but $10 is a bit much for what is basically two minifigures. I want to see what it looks like out of the box too.

At first i thought this was the series one clown but the face and torso is different. If it goes on clearance i may pick this one up.

Bill

Nice, but ten bucks? Six bucks maybe?

Joe

Bamos, the torso is a recolor of the Series 1 Clown, and the face is from the Series 5 Small Clown, so they do have some use. It's a cute set, but I think the price is a bit large.

Does Lego realize that heck of a lot people are freaked out by clowns?

Yay! If it comes to Denmark, then I would be able to get a clown that almost look like the one from serie 1.

So it's one of those must haves for me.

Like the clown but wish they'd used the other clown head. The dwarf clown face is really disturbing. I'll probably just get the torso and hair from Bricklink. The rest of the set is pretty meh.

I am actually welcoming it, as the cost is almost identical for a series 1 clown.

Nice for people who lost their chance for collectible afro clown.

The problem is the boy is a bit less distinctive. He/she should be at least look like a birthday child with a real print.

Or if it's a circus member instead of the star, it should be a trapeze girl instead (but possibly happens in CMF first).

The stickers in the set are for the birthday boy. That way he can have a generic birthday decoration like balloons or a piece of cake, or he can have a number for the age of the child whose birthday it is.

Probably not the right place to ask, but does anybody have the Minifigures "birthday cake topper" yet? It has a new color variant like the rock band scene and graveyard scene lego exclusives. Clown with a lime green fro, purple short clown torso. Shop @ Home has a picture, but it's just a prototype (painted over hair)

maybe I'm wrong about it being painted over. It just looks slightly unfinished for some reason.

It's not just a recolor. It uses the horn, a recolored afro (Joker henchmen, anyone?) and a recolored outfit from the Circus Clown, but reuses the Small Clown's head.

Ahh I knew one of the parts was from the small clown. Kinda like the figure in the rock band that's a recolored rapper with the disco dancer head. Yeah, I've got my clowns straight now

I almost picked this up at the LEGO store. I didn't like the price, so I passed. But otherwise I would have snatched it up right away. It looked really neat and fun.

Im loving this set. Picked it up today in the Danish LEGO store on Strøget along with the Wedding decoration set and the Back to the future CUUSOO set. Also got the Shelob attack set and Escape from murkwood spiders. What a great day! :D
