This is a fantastic build. I was impressed by its size, and all the lovely colorful detailing. The buildings itself are very nice, specially with the lively color scheme. The only thing I'm not fond of are the open platforms on the wheel, but that's a problem only for the less courages ones. Well done and enjoy Brickworld!

I absolutly love this model. My favorite MOC I think I have ever seen. Thanks for sharing the LXF file, I hope to recreate this one for my perosnnel collection and display. It is so gorgeous and I can't tell you how much I think it is the perfect Lego model.

I cannot but repeat what everyone has already said: this is amazing, both in shape and colour scheme. The fact that it is working too makes it even more special. I'm pretty sure it's going to be one of the highlights of the event.

Would you ever sell this model?

Thanks for asking, but it's for my daughter... (And she'll never give it up~!!) I love your Twist-a-Whirl by the way; good luck on reaching 10k!

Awesome..

Permission for buy pieces and make this MOC.

The .lxf file is free to use, under the conditions that the file not be sold in its original or a modified form and the photos not reused without my consent. A couple suggestions before diving in: First, I've updated the .lxf file. The axle through the previous version running at Brickworld sagged a bit in the middle. I bolstered it by linking together a dozen 40-tooth gears with four 12-stud axles, sandwiched in between two tires, and finished off with a gear-pin-plate combo. Second, Lego customer service had sufficient quantity of some parts in new colors (e.g., 64451 in dark red). Good luck!

Thank you so much, I am attempting to obtain the parts to create my very own one of these. I have a concern though. Your model requires 4 part 11213 in dark red, which is not avilable on BL. Did you obtain these from S@H or substitute them later for another color? Thanks.

I'd eventually like to use dark red, red, or white there--whichever is issued first. I am using medium stone grey (light bluish grey) 6x6 plates and 40-tooth gears right now, but it is not as aesthetically appealing as the 6x6 red dishes had been. The problem with the dishes were that they are arched on the outside if you place them sideways to cap the wheel between the holders; this arc allows enough space to let the axle warp, which I've been trying to limit. Having the 40-tooth gear connected to the 6x6 plate with pins creates a flat surface (albeit with more friction), but it holds the axle nearly straight.

Also not shown in the LDD file:

  • Per car, one warm gold 1x1 plate (6141) between white 1x12 plate (60479) and warm gold 1x1 nose cone (59900), creating extra tension to hold the axle 10M (3737) in place. Alternate the sides (e.g., left on red, right on blue).
  • One black tyre normal wide 043,2 x 22 (44309) on each rim (56145). The rim color will not show.

Thanks for clarifying those points also. I think I can visualize what you are talking about, but am not going o be too concerend abotu it now, I'll turn my attention to that when I have gotten to that point in the structure. At this point, I'm just trying to figure out my budget and which daily meal I can go without, and for how long, to afford the 8000+ pieces of this model. I don't know if I have mentioend it, but this is the most beautiful and incredible Lego model I've ever seen..in my entire life.
