Rolli Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 (edited) Sometimes they have to be moderated. That takes aaaages. Ah, of course! My fault, I personally never used brickshelf. Lets wait then.. (impatiently ) Edited June 17, 2013 by Rolli Quote
Cwetqo Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Or you could try and make Holodoc post more deeplinked pictures. Quote
Aredhel Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Ah, of course! My fault, I personally never used brickshelf. Lets wait then.. (impatiently ) I used it and I know that problem. Waiting to see the pics too. Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted June 18, 2013 Eurobricks Emperor Posted June 18, 2013 I'm also waiting for the pics of Holodoc to go public on Brickshelf (that's one of the reasons I stopped using Brickshelf). I am already working on some of the logistics for our 2014 event. Today I'll have a call with the place where we'll be staying to work out some details. Maybe there'll soon be an information topic so we can start dreaming about the next event :) Quote
Holodoc Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Mmmmmh. Strange. Normally it doesn't take so long. Any other place where I can (easily!) upload my pics? Quote
Cwetqo Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Try Flickr. You can create account and upload pics in minutes (mass upload is also possible via drag-and-drop. I just started using it (my first upload was EB Gunzburg pics) and its ok. Link to my pics (most were already deeplinked) http://www.flickr.com/photos/97290673@N08/ Quote
Vincent Kessels Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 I finally got around to sorting my pictures and uploaded them to flickr. Here are a few: Now that's what I call Pick-A-Brick. Peppermint_M, Lasse D and Scubacarrot having a bit of fun. Start of the Miniland Tour. Inside tour of the Dschungel X-pedition. What a lot of steps... Lunch in Munich. Mike getting rid of some frustrations... Der Biergarten. A rest before leaving the Legoland park. Time for dinner. The infamous spitting contest. The judging of the build game. There are more pictures in my flickr set - Vincent Quote
Legogal Posted June 20, 2013 Author Posted June 20, 2013 Vincent, Nice photos! Glad it was not raining those days. Thanks for the flickr post. Cheers! Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted June 25, 2013 Eurobricks Emperor Posted June 25, 2013 Doc, seems your Brickshelf gallery is still not public. Stupid brickshelf Quote
Peppermint_M Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Also all those pics from VK have goooone. Quote
Cecilie Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 People need to learn not to mess up their internet picture uploads Quote
Vincent Kessels Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 It wasn't me. Flickr is having issues. First the permissions are changed back to private, en next this error when setting them back to public??? Quote
Holodoc Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Who was the one to tell me flickr was easy to use? I'm close to throwing my screen out of the window getting used to this &§$'* website. Not self explaing at all, every time I want to drag and drop the images, the browser shows one without uploading. And I have no clue how to get the stuff sorted. Damn crap! Quote
Holodoc Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Now here's my first attempt: Click. Don't ask. How can I integrate the folders in the Günzburg 2013 one? And I still can't create the Munich-folder. Quote
Legogal Posted June 28, 2013 Author Posted June 28, 2013 Doc, Normally its much easier to build rather than to upload photos of what you have built! (That's why so many of us non-geeks post so few photos on EB!) Good luck with flickr....it usually works. And thanks for so many photos! Quote
Cecilie Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Now here's my first attempt: Click. Don't ask. How can I integrate the folders in the Günzburg 2013 one? And I still can't create the Munich-folder. On flickr it's all called sets and collections. You can put multiple sets in one collection. Go to "organize", and choose the "Sets & Collections" tab. Then you can filter the content to show for example sets not in a collection, and drag drop then into the collection you want on the left side. I actually like that organizing interface quite well. Just ask if you have any questions, I'll try to help Quote
Holodoc Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Thanks for the help. I found flickr's help page as well. The thing is that flickr works so different from what I am used to. I always prefer to see data like it is presented on my computer: A tree which you can browse to the left and the photos to the right - that is my world. But now all photos are presented on a big screen, completely unsorted, although I placed them in different "sets". I tried a new sorting. Is it working? Quote
