Posted June 10, 201311 yr Batboat / Batsubmarine Batjet Batwing New 52 - inspired Batmobile Tumbler concept Batmobile - Classic Style Hello everyone, I completed several vehicles for Batman over the weekend. Here are new pictures as promised (still not the best quality though - all black MOCs are really hard to photograph sometimes, sorry!) First up is the Batboat / Batsubmarine. I wanted to make it look like it could travel both on top of and under the water: Both cockpits open up One side has an escape jet-ski Pop-up torpedo missiles on the left side Pop-up grappling hook and harpoon cannons on the right side The top opens up Batcomputer and workstation on the right side Spare Batsuit, Batarangs and equipment on the left side ============================================================================== Next up is the Batjet: Retractable landing gear in the rear. I used this Lego piece: Pop-out boosters on both sides for supersonic and long-distance travel The top part also opens up and the boosters can be removed for a larger cargo bay Pop-up missiles and flares in the back for bad-guys trying to chase Batman ============================================================================== Next is the Batwing - a smaller aerial vehicle for patrolling Gotham City: A set of 4 harpoon-missiles are below the front nose of the Batwing ============================================================================== Next is a classic-style Batmobile inspired by Burton's series and older comics: No gadgets or missiles yet. I'll probably add some in later on... ============================================================================== Next is my Tumbler concept - an older MOC but a few small changes were made: I put in a double-hinge. This way, it can open parallel to the cockpit, rather going straight up like my classic Batmobile ============================================================================== Next is another Batmobile inspired by the 'New 52' comic series and the 'Ankonian' concept by Lamborghini: Rear fins can be put down for a sleeker look A tight fit, but computers in the back for Robin and a Batarang holder (window removed for picture) Twin thrusters in the rear ============================================================================== "Which one today, Master Wayne?" Thanks for looking! Comments and suggestions are more than welcome Edited June 13, 201311 yr by becauseBATMAN
June 10, 201311 yr These are some pretty fantastic mocs you got here. All the Batmobiles are great. The Batjet is great, but not my favorite out of the bunch. The Batsubmarine is IMO the best here,it looks sleek and fits any batman vehicle persona set for each one. Great Job ;)
June 10, 201311 yr You've got a really nice fleet, there. You've got enough black pieces to go around, I guess. I really like the batwing the best. Fine work on all of them, though.
June 10, 201311 yr Great vehicles I like the submarine and the jet the most. The submarine has great features nad I like the interior and the jet looks awesome. The cars are great too, though they are a little too big.
June 10, 201311 yr Awesome! Stunning! I wish to buy or make them. All vehicles are great and the Bat submarine is best. Thanks for looking & sorry about the low quality pics. I'll try to take some better ones this week & put them on Flickr Yes. they are deserved to be taken for high quality, No offense. I'm looking forward to seeing them on Flickr. June 10, 201311 yr These are absolutely fantastic, 'becauseBATMAN'! I like the Batwing the best. I wish LEGO made the official one more like that!
June 10, 201311 yr Love these @becausebatman, especially the submarine. Combines inspiration from the latest films and the comics with a bit of the quinjet interior look/features IMO - great MOC's!
June 11, 201311 yr Author These are some pretty fantastic mocs you got here. All the Batmobiles are great. The Batjet is great, but not my favorite out of the bunch. The Batsubmarine is IMO the best here,it looks sleek and fits any batman vehicle persona set for each one. Great Job ;) Thank you! The Batsub was actually the most fun for me to build. I admit that it has alot more features and playability compared to the others. Thanks again!! You've got a really nice fleet, there. You've got enough black pieces to go around, I guess. I really like the batwing the best. Fine work on all of them, though. Thank you! It was heavily inspired by the Batarangs used in Batman Beyond as well as the Batwing sets produced by Lego Great vehicles I like the submarine and the jet the most. The submarine has great features nad I like the interior and the jet looks awesome. The cars are great too, though they are a little too big. Thanks! Yeah, Lego cars are always difficult for me when it comes to making them scaled-correctly for mini-figures. I used Technic wheels because of the very low-profile tires. The length of them however is very close to the Batmobile released by Lego in "The Two-Face Chase". Awesome! Stunning! I wish to buy or make them. All vehicles are great and the Bat submarine is best. Yes. they are deserved to be taken for high quality, No offense. I'm looking forward to seeing them on Flickr. Thank you for the great comment! I just posted new pictures now, please enjoy! These are absolutely fantastic, 'becauseBATMAN'! I like the Batwing the best. I wish LEGO made the official one more like that! February 11, 201411 yr Very intense design and detailing! I love the bold use of all those slopes and wedges! The look of your Tumbler strikes me as more sleek and less tank-like compared to the real thing. Very cool. But my favourite has gotta be the New 52-inspired Bat mobile. That thing is razor sharp, man. Edited February 11, 201411 yr by Colossus

March 25, 20159 yr Excellent bat-vehicles! The bat submarine is my favorite. It looks very similar to the set being released this summer...
March 29, 20159 yr Thank you very much for the necromancy of this thread. I had not seen it, and some of those vehicles are incredible! Both of the Batmobiles are 100% pure awesome. The boat is my fave though, it is incredible.
March 29, 20159 yr That Batboat is the best of the bunch. Yours is even better than the one LEGO's releasing in a few months! Edited March 29, 20159 yr by Master_Data
