Scorpio Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 Here is a preview of my MOC for Brickworld 2013, the Villa Park Metra Station. Villa Park is a small suburb outside of Chicago, Illinois and Metra is the commuter rail. Comments, questions and critiques are always welcome. The current layout is 8 baseplates x 3 baseplates. Also, thanks to whoever fixed the title. It has been awhile since I have posted a MOC to EB and I forgot to at MOC:. Quote

Kivi Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 You captured it very well, especially the roof and the brick walls. Quote
lightningtiger Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 AWESOME work there 'Scorpio', I really like the roof design.....oh, that's given the tiger an idea ! Brick On 'Scorpio' ! Quote
kieran Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 The roof is the best bit for me, it juts looks like the real thing proportions are spot on, well done Quote
eurotrash Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 You've done a great job of capturing the look and feel of a real-life place. As LT12V stated the roof looks just right. I think my favourite details are in the parking lot. The low tan wall, the steps and the passengers hurrying to meet their train. Good luck at Brickworld and thanks for sharing it with us! Quote
AlmightyArjen Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Looks enormously like the original and it looks really awesome! Nice job! Quote
