June 14, 201410 yr I have just published a blog post about a new carry case I purchased today for storing my spare LEGO pieces, it might be interesting for others who are looking to do the same: http://paulstechnic.blogspot.com.au/2014/06/storage-kincrome-multi-pack-trade.html
June 20, 201410 yr I finally got my 'Pick a Brick' order, took 20 days to get here...I am in California, from Poland.
June 24, 201410 yr Started my next Modular MOC - it's going to be a dilapidated strip mall. Weeds, broken windows, crumbling masonry - you know the usual stuff.
June 24, 201410 yr I worked on a ultra agents MOC. It's going to a chunk of a dystopian cyber punk city, which is what I think ultra agents is.
June 24, 201410 yr I have just published a blog post about a new carry case I purchased today for storing my spare LEGO pieces, it might be interesting for others who are looking to do the same: http://paulstechnic.blogspot.com.au/2014/06/storage-kincrome-multi-pack-trade.html Really nice carry case but a tad expensive. I find this case from the 8062 set really useful when building. Gilly or Jake takes the parts from their original box and sorts them for me into one or two of these depending on set size. Being not very deep pieces are easier to find & to get. Also, the adjustable dividers and removable tray are really handy. They can be a bit on the pricy side with some people on evilBay (which, somewhat hypocritically, is where this picture came from as I have none of mine) asking stupid money, especially if they're complete with the original set but you can sometimes pick them up cheaply. I have 7 of them, mostly bought complete with the original sets parts, and all were under £15. If you're looking for a carry case and you come across one of these at a sensible price I'd recommended you buy it. If you're lucky enough to get one complete with the original parts etc., the instruction book has some natty little builds that make it, in my opinion, an ideal set for youngsters. I've given Jake one of his own and he loves it. Edited June 24, 201410 yr by grum64
June 25, 201410 yr Picked up a couple Stanley storage cases to sort and hold all the spare parts I now have floating around.
June 30, 201410 yr Laid some train tracks on the floor and tested some of my train MOCs. Also watched the LEGO Movie again.
June 30, 201410 yr Trying to sort out the pieces left over from combining eight grand emporiums into one large one. What a mess.
July 1, 201410 yr Another BL order. This time for more pieces for the Trailer Park, another Airstream and the embryonic Strip Mall.
July 2, 201410 yr Chased a chipmunk out of my LEGO building area. Lego, enjoyed by all. Even chipmunks! ;-)
July 9, 201410 yr Sorted out pieces for a model I'm going to build and BrickLinked the remaining parts.
