Been busy sorting through a few incomplete sets I picked up a while back. Not far off completing them but, Bricklink will have to come to the rescue for the final few pieces.

Since I have all of the modulars, and since I can't get another grand emporium until the end of the month, I'm working on completing the winter village series. I've completed the first, second and fifth in the series. I'm currently working on the fourth. Still shopping for a good deal on the third one.

Aye, that requires an extra step. You have to print it twice: Once in white and then once in the desired colour.

You can do it on the same sheet, if you line it up perfectly. Or, you can just print it in white and then in the colour and apply the coloured decal on top the white one. The former has a better dhelf life though. :D

Figured out how to do custom decorations in POV-Ray, and of course ended up having to go the STAMP route due to how LDD2POVray handles custom decorations - still, all in all, very pleased with the results and the utility of these programs.

I washed a BrickLink order of some seriously smelly plate parts. Wow, even the shipping bag they were in reeked of cigar smoke. I really dislike buying used parts...but some parts are only available as used!

Tried to take pictures of my SHIP and finding out it is too big for my white backdrop.

Ordered what I'm hoping are all the bricks I'll need for the Cobra. I've ordered way more of some than I'll probably need but best have too many than not enough.

Having gotten as far as I can with LDD (damn those illegal building technique restrictions!) I'll have resort to some first time real brick trial & error.

Now all I've got to do is find the time to do it.
