Went through my brick inventory to see if I had enough bricks left over from my Town Hall or Grand Emporium projects to eliminate all off the blue bricks on the upcoming Detective Office/Pool Hall/Barber Shop/Apartment (and whatever else) modular building.

Just completed a HUGE sorting-fest and properly sorted all the stuff I brought back from Brick2014. Now I need to disassemble a bunch of sets so I have space to start my Christmas building spree!

Another BL order placed.....

....and I'm struggling with a gearing issue for a MOC.

Simply unimportant as rumors are spreading that hipsters have started the gentrification of your modular city.

Say it ain't so!

Don't worry - there's no hipsters anywhere near this one. I'll post it once I get those final pieces, but in the meantime check your eurobricks mail.... :)

Thanks for the 'info'.

I'm looking forward to your next MOC as much as I'm looking forward to the TLG releases on January 1.

I've got two things on the go at the moment. First, I'm trying to squeeze a MOC into a 16-wide baseplate while still having the sidewalk out front - it may have to go diagonally and second, I'm struggling with another gearing issue for the same MOC. I'm thinking of scrapping the gear mechanism I've currently built and hiding it in an adjacent building.

Both will be solved within the next few days.

I'm opening the one gallon bag of dismembered mini figs from the many modular series sets that I've used for parts and putting them together more or less at random. They will form the line outside of my MOC soup kitchen.

I gotta see that!

Well, I didn't make much progress. I'm off to St. Lucia next Tuesday to socialize with the hipsters at an all inclusive resorts for about a week. So, the mini figs may well have to stay in their ziplocked purgatory for a couple of more weeks.

I got the 'Lego Neighborhood' book, and am flipping through it...and also sorted out the mound of miscellaneous extra parts from the last batch of projects, put them in drawers.

I thought I was the only one that mixes up the minifigs till they are completely random from the sets they came from...haha.

I'm trying to avoid placing a BL order for the two remaining pieces that I need for my latest MOC. Now I just need to work out whether I dismantle the Fire Station and grab the two in that set or redesign my MOC so I can omit them altogether.

What do you need? Maybe someone has them.

They were the LBG 1x2 Technic Bricks with a cross in the middle.

They held the top of the fireman's pole in place in the Fire Station - they have been replaced by a green one and a blue one from my inventory and my MOC continues!
