Yzalirk Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Is this were we join ??? For the most part, yes. Really all you need to do is choose which guild you'd like the join and post your character there. Quote
SkaForHire Posted April 4, 2015 Author Posted April 4, 2015 Welcome aboard, go ahead and post your character in the Kaliphlin thread. Quote
gedren_y Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 For freebuilds, certainly, but most contests require real bricks. I think Challenge IV C allows LDD, but be sure to read the rules. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 (edited) Was there ever a decision made on Guild points for Book II? Does each guild still earn points based on its members participation in challenges and through freebuilding? And if I recall correctly, the original plan for Book II challenges, was for there to be brickbuilt trophies for individual winners of categories, has that plan changed? Quote from ZCerberus in the beginning of Book II: "There will be trophies and tags for winning in each category, plus it is fun, so I encourage everyone who is able to participate in each civil war if they can, even when it is not in your home guild." Just a few things I'd been wondering about for a while Edited May 10, 2015 by soccerkid6 Quote
halixon Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 How do i use Brickshelf to upload pictures on these forums? Quote
Ecclesiastes Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 A better way to show your photo's is by using flickr. Especially because the brickshelf website has quite the problems staying online. Which means we can't see photos here as well. Quote

Kai NRG Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 (edited) Once you're at the picture's page, click the little curved arrow off toward the right. (Middle button.) Then hit the section that says BBCode. Select the appropriate size from the drop down menu (Med. 500 is good) and then copy the code found in the box below. It should look something like this: [url=https://flic.kr/p/tKiwA2][img=https://c2.staticflickr.com/8/7781/18211661861_5cccf81dd1.jpg][/url][url=https://flic.kr/p/tKiwA2]Aeldric: My Guilds of Historica Sigfig[/url] by [url=https://www.flickr.com/photos/132853958@N04/]Windusky[/url], on Flickr Then my recommendation would be to take off the last part, this part: [url=https://flic.kr/p/tKiwA2]Aeldric: My Guilds of Historica Sigfig[/url] by [url=https://www.flickr.com/photos/132853958@N04/]Windusky[/url], on Flickr Once you've got rid of that, you're ready to post! CptMugwash Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 Good day citizens of Historica, I am inquiring as to how long this Civil War business will continue? I'm undecided whether to join now or for the next challenge. I've been lurking in the shadows recently reading up on the current stages. I use to be a member of Kaliphlin a long time ago but I suddenly became unable to continue participating due to moving homes, I'm now currently in a stable situation and I'm considering rejoining, which guild though I'm not sure. Also, I've been thinking of creating a vampiric necromancer character, is this possible and are there any rules against Necromancy? The idea of the character is a vampire who has abandoned their coven in pursuit of 'higher' knowledge and cannot be done with the frivolous politics of his coven. Unlike most vampires this character would have more care and consideration regarding the use of their necromantic abilities, whilst most people will say it's unethical and immoral I think it depends which type it is and how it is used, on one hand you can say a necromancer is a glorified puppeteer, a magic user capable of manipulating flesh and bone to give the illusion of animation, and on the other hand you have a masterful soul weaver capable of calling upon the souls of the fallen to reclaim their decaying bodies once again and fight for glory, vengeance, redemption and ultimately what is right and to rid the world of corruption, a good necromancer in this case would only summon willing souls, to fight for what is right and to help others in need, whereas an evil necromancer would not care and pluck unwilling souls from the spiritworld, bind them to rotten corpses and be forced into slavery under the rule of an evil necromancer. I have fluff coming out of my bottom for necromancy and more but I shall save it for later if it is at all allowed here. Cheers, Jack Quote
Jacob Nion Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 (edited) There are no restrictions against necromancy in Nocturnus! And new vampire lords are always welcome. The war will last another month, until first of july. But the hot phase, category c, is nearly done. You can still join and concentrate on cat a, b and d. Edited June 3, 2015 by Jacob Nion Quote

Cheers, Jack Vampires and vampiric activities of all kinds are very much welcome! My character, Lord Vladivus is a half-vampire and whilst his necromantic ability is not that great he's certainly leaning towards being a "good" necromancer. Krell, his actual necromancer, is a little less discerning, but fights for the good of the Nocturnian/Historican peoples. My zombies are also more like drones, linked to a huge mind, resurrected bodies, rather than souls. If that makes sense! Welcome to the guilds! Quote
CptMugwash Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Thank you good sirs for the warm welcome, I shall work on my character for now, I believe I will choose Nocturnus as my guild, they are clearly the most awesome and more deserving of fresh blood. So long for now. Quote
