<"My followers are simply uneducated thanks to the oppression they have been subjected to. If they had the wisdom and knowledge to know the truth of the world, then they would not be so quick accept your fruit of subjugation.">

"Then the hell are you, esquire? Former slave or some bureaucrat?"

"So you have absolutely no experience being in their shoes."

<"I was a slave. I was treated like property. I watched as my brethren were killed when they were too weak to perform their work. The bipeds care for us only to keep us ignorant, they use us then get rid of us once we are no longer useful. You are monsters, all of you, and I will not rest until you have paid for your crimes.">

Grimwald was clearly getting frustrated with the impudent horse.

"Now you just listen here for one bleedin' second, laddy" he began, waving his finger in front of Edward's face. "It was you an' yer cronie ponies here who attacked us first, we were merely actin' in self defence! An' we tried to settle things peacefully. I have the utmost respect for all creatures, but yer really testin' me patience here....."

<"We were dispensing justice for the enslavement of the equine species. Do not try to deny your involvement as I can clearly see a fellow horse tried to a tree nearby. I may be unable to stop you for the moment, but my crusade will resume once I am able, of that you have my word.">

"Alternatively, I can kill you and snuff out your insane delusions of granduer, you equine bastard. How does that sound?"

Thormanil nudges Grimwald, "Here, take the Medal. I've gotten my solid use out of it." He unequips the Medal of Glory and loans it to Grimwald, equipping the Aqua Gear in its place.

<"See! See how they oppress us! I'm saying things he doesn't like and he threatens to murder me as a result.">

"Eddy, buddy, you tried to trample us for your little crusade. Yer bringin' this on yerself, y'know."

[Endgame]

"Yes, because blindly assaulting everyone on the road you don't like is not a crime. So, buh-bye."

And with one precise arrow I pierce the horse's heart, killing it.

Mizuki says "Should we set free the other horses ? I mean they're just misguided but it should be fine as long as they don't attack anyone,"

"If any of 'em are still capable of walking, I say we offer 'em the chance to join our little troupe. They're likely wounded and we can do our best to protect 'em, but they'll have to pull their own weight or, rather, strap up to the cart and help us get where we're going a bit quicker."

Sir Edward Equine the first fell to the ground as the arrow pierced his heart. The remaining horses were still unconscious after the recent fight, but it seemed they would survive the battle thanks in part to the work Mizuki had done healing them. Just as Sorrow was lowering his bow, Mac walked back into the camp from among the trees.

"You guys will never guess what I found out in the forest. There's an apple tree just over yonder, I picked a few apples for supper. Just let me know which one you'd like."

Each player gets to pick 1 apple

Healthy Apple (permanently raises maximum health by one)

Big Apple (permanently raises attack power by one)

Green Apple (permanently raises ether by one)

"If any of 'em are still capable of walking, I say we offer 'em the chance to join our little troupe. They're likely wounded and we can do our best to protect 'em, but they'll have to pull their own weight or, rather, strap up to the cart and help us get where we're going a bit quicker."

"I suppose we could bring them with us. We might be able to fetch a small profit in town by selling them, or perhaps try to return them to their original owners."

"No reason to prove Ed right by talking of sellin' em. If they'd like to come along, we can figure out what they wanna do once we're done our trip."

"As far as the apples go, that Healthy Apple is lookin' mighty delicious...."

Grimwald equips the medal and gives Thormy back his Golden Armour.

"Thank you lad, this'll serve me well" he says with a sincere smile.

"Ooh, lovely. Good idea, Mac. I'll take one of those Big Apples if ye dint mind."

"Ah, right, the armor!"

Thormanil unequips his Aqua Gear and re-equips the Bright Armor.

Grimwald goes over to the horse pulling Mac's cart, patting on the shoulder, or as close to that as he could with his height.

"There there, fella. Sorry ye had to see that, but we had to protect ourselves." He knew it couldn't understand him, but he figured he might as well try to give the poor innocent thing some comfort.

Romulus grabs a Healthy Apple, then eats it.

Mizuki grabs a Healthy Apple and eats it.

"Shall we get going soon ?

Grimwald eats his apple too, sharing some of it with the horse.

Mizuki feeds each of the horses a choc chip cookie before passing a plate of cookies around the party.

[Endgame]

"...Mizuki, ins't chocolate poison to animals?"

Shrugging and not really caring about the horses' well being at this point, I help myself to a chocolate chip cookie. I take small bites, speaking inbetween my nibbles.

"I have no need for any of those apples - you folks can take your pick."

"Sorrow, we get one each. If you don't want yours, I propose you give to to Grimwald."
