Posted June 15, 201311 yr This is a Ginaf max a-15 trial truck. It's driven 8x8 and steers with its two front axles. There is a manual 2 speed gearbox in it. In reality there were just 8 built of them, and 1 of them was driven 8x8. You can find photos are here: http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=501495 Edited June 23, 201311 yr by turbostefan
June 15, 201311 yr I think it would look a lot better if the cab took up the whole front width of the chassis. Edited June 15, 201311 yr by Alasdair Ryan
June 15, 201311 yr alasdair, maybe this is a truck for transporting tubes on oilfields. this type of truck is not unusual at these sites
June 15, 201311 yr alasdair, maybe this is a truck for transporting tubes on oilfields. this type of truck is not unusual at these sites It's not the chassis I am on about,I can understand that. What I mean is that the Daf tracks/Ginaf from what I have ever seen make the truck cabs the full width of the front like regular trucks.
June 15, 201311 yr Best TurboStefan, I like your Ginaf it's a great looking and working truck . Only i think the suspension is to hard and to short for a trial truck Edited June 15, 201311 yr by VFracingteam
June 15, 201311 yr Looks great and has some good offroad capability. Maybe you could add some gear reduction to the steering so you have more control.
June 16, 201311 yr Author I love the truck. Is the suspension too strong? I also love this truck, my grandfather bought it 35 years ago.
June 16, 201311 yr Wait, your grandpa bought it and stored it in his house? How big was his parking lot? How much did he buy it for! The truck looks great and performs very well.
June 18, 201311 yr Author Wait, your grandpa bought it and stored it in his house? How big was his parking lot? How much did he buy it for! The truck looks great and performs very well. Not just the GINAF, also the 5 other mercedeses and a lot of tractors, so yes, it is quite big!
June 23, 201311 yr Author I think it would look a lot better if the cab took up the whole front width of the chassis. They also were built with a DAF cabin on it, but this is also an orgininal cabin built by GINAF. Edited June 23, 201311 yr by turbostefan
