I decided that what my ever expanding Modular City needed was a Subway. I'll get around to building the Platforms, Escalators and Tracks later. So I started by building a Subway Entrance to act as a Corner Modular in the Entertainment District part of my town.

Here's the Top view:

There are entrance's from both sides of the building and the Corporate Railway colours of Yellow and Blue are liberally splashed over the walls.

Here's a view from one side:

And a view from the Front:

Here's some more images... Ticket machine to the Right in the Entrance Lobby (based on a design from www.brickbuilderspro.com), Tunnels leading to the Platforms in the Center and lost London 2012 Olympic Swimmer with Beat Box to the Left.

The Roof is detachable so that you can access the Station Master's office on the second floor. He uses a bunch of different technologies:

Rush Hour!

And what Station entrance isn't complete without a broken down Bike chained to a Lamp-post? (the Fly looks bemused)

I hope you like it and would appreciate any comments, criticisms, or suggestions!

Great work 'eurotrash', a fantastic modular add-on......I like the roof too.

The addition of that bike frame against that lamp post is just the bomb.......dude, where are my wheels ?

Brick On 'eurotrash' !

This is great! I love the roof and the collection of the minifigs. You've got the old guy on the bench who's there every day and then the weirdo in the swimming suit (that little girl should really be running at this point). BTW, what is she looking at through the magnifying glass?

AHAHAHAHA!

But that's aside. I love this subway entrance, very clever addition to any LEGO town! And very well put together, I love the broken down bike that's a great touch! Well done and can't wait to see more :classic:

Happy building

PS, that fly cracked me up too!!!

Very nice building, both outside and inside. The roof and the abandoned bike frame are very interesting details. Only the office looks a bit empty, a desk or some other piece of furniture or equipment (a coffee machine, perhaps :classic:) would give better impression of the station master's workplace.

This has a really nice retro lego meets modern lego feel to it. At least, I think so, and perhaps it's just the traditional minifigs mixed in. I'd put the grate flush with the rest of the sidewalk. Someone's gonna trip and sue the railway!

Thanks for all the comments - they really are appreciated.

The truth is that I'd run out of 2x2 tiles for the sidewalk and had to improvise by using a 2x2 plate and the manhole cover.

And I couldn't resist the Olympic Swimmer - I was trying to do the naked Singing Cowboy of Times Square, but I got some Limey with a Beatbox instead :classic:

That is a very good modular! I very much like the arches, and the yellow and blue accents.

The roof is also very well done.

The only comment I have us that it is to clean. I am missing the dirt, graffiti and posters.

The bicycle frame is a great touch though.
