Hello good people of Eurobricks!

I have recently purchased the DC Superheroes Funhouse Escape set, but it has not yet arrived. It looks to be a very nice set, with lots of potential of modding. What I am wondering is this; has anyone found or carried out any interesting modifications on the set that I could perhaps replicate on my copy?

I'm asking about enlargements, editions and reductions to make an already nice set better to look at and better to play () with. I don't expect tutorials or anything like that - although that would be great - simply ideas would be fine.

Does anyone have any? :sweet:

I was actually about to post mine later!

Anyway, I've tiled the entire thing with alternating green and red tiles and behind the Riddler's head, I added a little wardrobe area for Joker as I also made a load of alternate costumes for him. I'll do a pic later...

You could:

  • extend the roller coaster rails.
  • add more wacky funhouse stuff like a slide, spinning tunnel, mirrors, etc.
  • add more death traps.
  • add an office for Joker and maybe some sleeping quarters in the back.
  • just watch some episodes of Batman: The Animated Series with the Joker in it. You'll get plenty of ideas from his hideouts in that show! :sweet:

Someone named 'HayHay' made it into a modular, along with some of the other superhero buildings such as The Daily Bugle. Search for it, it's pretty cool.

Thanks for the suggestions so far, comrades!

Yeah... I don't think I'll post mine after seeing that.

No, please do. Although beautiful, Sok's creation is huge and rather out of my spectrum.

I have to second the love for the chequered floor, it really makes the place look more interesting.

I believe I also have some large tan plates out the back somewhere, so perhaps I might try and add an additional room to the Funhouse. Something with living quarters for Joker and Harley, as a hideout with no-where to sleep is barely a hideout at all!

That's what I plan to do next. I was going to make a MOC of the Joker's office but I think I'll add on the the set.

Great thread idea by the way.

The set arrived today, and I must say, it is truly outstanding. :sweet:

My first priorities are to try and do something with the area behind Riddler's box and start planning some additional rooms.
