Okay, It's still HERO Factory Month And NOTHING HF RELATED IS BEING DONE.

I'm starting to get annoyed.

uhm... what about those entries the members made for the contests?

Woohoo, I am excited to take part in my first MOC contest ever! Hopefully I have a chance at winning, but I am happy just being able to enter and see all of the other amazing entries

About the signed set; I'd want to get a signed set, and then just sell/trade it so I still get the set, but with a little profit :D

I suppose technically you could...? Seems a little mean-spirited, honestly. Some people would actually like to keep it for the collector's value (and not the money kind).

Mean-spirited? If you win it, you can do whatever you want with it.

It's not that mean-spirited as long as it ends up in the hands of SOMEONE who appreciates it. The eventual owner won't get the sentimental value that comes from having won it as a prize, but if they're willing to offer more for the signed set than they would for an unsigned version then they presumably still recognize the value of the signature.

I meant more that because there's a choice of getting the signed or unsigned version, getting the signed version specifically to flip it in order to make a quick buck is obnoxiously capitalistic. I'd hope that someone who didn't actually appreciate it for the intended value would be kind enough to let the runner up take it (assuming, of course, that the runner-up actually would want it for that reason).

-discussion above-

I get it, but there would be a problem to find a fanatic which would want it for more money than the actual sets, so I would rather want in case I win unsigned sets or I would just keep and open the signed ones. I dont know what would I do with the signed packaging, I couldnt just throw them somewhere as I do with normal ones... (I dont throw them to trash, just on the floor in my room... )

And there are people like me, materialists, who care almost exclusively about things they own. Glad to see someone besides me.

i wonder, if both the winner and runner up prefer unsigned sets, what would happen with the unsigned one?

I would assume that the runner up would be forced to take the signed ones.

ah, yeah. i forgot the runner up doesn't have a privilege to choose.

I suppose then the hosts could auction the thing off at face value plus, and use the proceeds to buy a third normal copy? Seems excessive, so I just hope that the signed sets go to somebody who wants them.

And it's fine not to want the signed sets; I have no idea what I would do with them, personally (not that I stand a chance in any given category, since I'm only in one =P). It's just that wanting them specifically so that you can sell them to make a profit doesn't sit well with me, especially when you have somebody like Front, who said he would donate/give them away if he won them (which I suppose means he plans on entering... that'll be fun).

Edit: Totally unrelated, but do you think we could get a list of the designer's names and their characters? I can make out most of them, but a few escape my grasp.
