bruce n h Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 Hi all, Does anyone know who marakoeschtra is? They've built some really cool MOCs, but there's no sign of them on Lugnet, MOCpages, 1000steine.de, classic-castle, or Google. I'd love to contact them about some of their castle creations. ApophisV Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 I've seen the trucks on this board, but I don't think the owner had posted them.... :/ Maybe you could mail the brickshelf admins and ask them if they could redirect a mail from you to the owner... Normally they are very helpful, so if you tell them who you are I think there's a chance they will... Quote

ApophisV Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 I think they manage it that way because they want their page to be a display page and not a communication center.... :/ Quote
medib Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 I think your right Apo, Kevin Loch has to worry about bandwidth already, since its still run mainly non-profit. I am still slightly upset that he went and made sure everyone was using their "user name" rather than their real name. Quote
ApophisV Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 Otherwise there are many people out there that don't want to let other people see their real names... Maybe Brickshelf could have done some kind of profiles where people could paste in their informations if they want to... Quote
Jipay Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 I anderstand their problem. People have no idea how every little operation can impact a server. Running big websites for free is a real challenge :) Quote
