Next year I'll join in, I was there (as Sebeus was allowed to use my pics), joined this forum through there as my GoH got sparked, so next year I'll definitly drop by to say hi

hey you two, it's really cool we got you inspired to participate in GoH, since that was our main aim. However, I don't remember meeting Tomche in person, did we actually meet?

As for the table, the size was not really the problem there was still lots of room left so you can add a whole bunch of more modules to the Thorshaven layout ... What annoyed me though, was the height of the table (too low for my taste) and the fact that it was really uneven under the table cloth. It really stressed the technic pins between the respective modules quite a bit. So if we can get that fixed I'm sure we can present something really spectacalur next year!

BTW, what's happened to DM, havn't seen him posting in GoH for quite a while, hey maxim, are you still alive?

Nah we didn't, I was there strolling around, but I didn't do to much talkies to standholders and BeLUG'ers (of which I'm also a member ), having three munchkins running around tends to do those things ;-)

Hey Kabel! I am really looking forward to next year and the bigger GoH lay-out!!

I am kinda busy dating a girl so that's why I am so quiet lately but I'll be back very soon :classic:

We found that out with the community build I participated in as well...I think the solution is to only use pins for sideways support, and to clamp the modules together with plates/tiles when arranging the display.

it's usually a combination of uneven floor & bad tables..

(kabel..where u there before the table got covered in sheets? you should've seen the build up of those tables...pretty ramshakle.. then again..the stagepieces we used for the bigger displays weren't exactly even due to the floor being uneven..but they at least didn't have bending tops)

even though i think it's DM's responsibility :) i will take it up with the event manager
