Kristel Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Emma wanted to join in the fun of Hero Factory Month, so she invited Natalie to a girls' day out. First stop of the day is shopping for a handbag. Fortunately, Emma was able to convince Natalie to leave her weapons at home. Quote
TrumpetKing Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 (edited) Love it! I've always wanted to see the full shop vignette that you have, and it's very cute! Will Emma and Natalie be making anymore stops? Cute crossover, Kristel! EDIT: An interesting idea I just thought of. Would you ever make a street layout of window-shop vignettes? It would be pretty cute to see, personally. Edited June 22, 2013 by TrumpetKing Quote

Hopefully the girls will get to do more than just handbag shopping before Hero Factory month is over ... I've got a couple of things in mind. This is the only one of the shopfront vignettes that I keep built. The others could be rebuilt into a layout, but there would be some awful clashing of colour: I did convert my main avatar one into a full building. Quote
DraikNova Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 . Without a doubt, the silliest contribution to this month. Quote
Kristel Posted June 22, 2013 Author Posted June 22, 2013 Ha, ha! What did she pick? . Ooh, the suspense ... you'll just have to wait until the next instalment! Quote
ToaJaller78 Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Like it. Though I would get the Brain Attack figure. Looks more feminine Quote
Dorek Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Like it. Though I would get the Brain Attack figure. Looks more feminine Metroid fans would like a word with you. That bag looks awfully small for Breez. Think we'll see something more in her size, then? Quote

ToaJaller78 Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Not me, cuz Evo has more of a Samus vibe than Breeze. Agreed. I don't see HOW Breez looks like Samus. Quote
DraikNova Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 I think this describes the only thing Breez really has in common with Samus. Anyway, is this going to be a multi-part joke story? Quote
ZORK64 Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 The reason for the Samus = Breez comparison is the overall design of Breez' Breakout armour. She got the bubbly shoulders, and the shape of her feet and torso armour (both front and back) increases the likeness even more. Quote

Was planning on doing a couple more scenes, but it wasn't my intention to upset anyone. Just trying to get into the spirit of Hero Factory Month. Quote
Zachattacx Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 (edited) Eh..this conversation always happens sometime somewhere when using breakout Breez.lol Still nice vignette! Are they anymore? Edited June 25, 2013 by Zachattacx Quote

I have the next scene mapped out in my head. Plan to build and upload this weekend. I saw the brain alien Breez in a shop yesterday. I think I'll stick with the one I have. Quote
Kristel Posted July 6, 2013 Author Posted July 6, 2013 Next stop for the girls is the beauty parlour for a makeover! The next thing I have in mind requires Breez to be sitting down, on a chair or the ground (either would work). However, I'm struggling with posing her. Any suggestions welcome. Quote
Legogal Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 LMAO!!! I have never seen anything from Hero Factory, so this is beyond hysterical...I am trying not to fall out of bed laughing.....thanks! Maybe Emma could take Natalie to the city pool before Natalie's first driving lesson. Then they could go to the city cafe for lunch, catch a karate lesson together, and take the poodle for a pedicure. Wow! That would be a full day, and then they could meet their Friends for a cookout at the stables. The girls might have to take the next day off after so much running around. Phew! Then they do need a surfing lesson before they take the Friends's yacht out at the beach on Sunday. Does Natalie know how to rollerblade or ice skate yet? I can't wait to see that! (Note to the guys: please chill out and quit your silly arguments about who should replace Natalie. It is Kristel's choice and her darn story, so no more yapping...please. I am trying to be nice here, but you are starting to get under my skin! Gotcha, did I!) Quote

I'd say swap out the thigh joints for the lower arm type (the ones without the locked end joint) but I'm not sure how much you want to mod the set, and the joints don't come in red anyway, so it would look a bit different. Would make crossing her legs for posing much easier, though. Also, that clip for her handbag is hilariously great. Good usage. Quote

Actually, since Breez's thighs are six modules rather than five, the other variety DOES come in red (Drilldozer and Raw-Jaw both used it, and possibly other sets I'm not remembering at the moment). This is a very amusing photo series! I look forward to seeing the next installment! Quote

Kristel Posted July 14, 2013 Author Posted July 14, 2013 The last stop for Emma and Natalie on their girls' day out is the cafe for a well-earned soda and cupcake! Girls' Day Out - Cafe by kjw010, on Flickr I ended up leaving Breez standing as I couldn't find a sitting pose that worked well. Fortunately, the cafe was recently renovated, and now has a rooftop terrace for customers. Quote
