and can someone add a I like them all button to the votes please.

Yes, I can!

But also, how did Stargate get to be one of the choices? Oh well, I'll just leave it there for now, even though it's not in the title. (Subtitle time?)

Man, this is older than the Internet. (Oh, wait, it actually is...)

I like it all, for different reasons. I think SW wins (due to the cooler aliens) but I'm into Star Wars, Star Trek, Stargate, Farscape, Red Dwarf (admittedly it's more a comedy) etc...

It's true, there's a lot about them I hate too. (Jar Jar, "<life/death situation> 'No response, captain' 'Increase to x quantity' 'Total success! Complete victory! Pity about that red-shirt though' <episode ends>", Anakin, Ewoks, Humanoids with glue on their head, Cheese cheese & more cheese, SGU (shoutfest in dark rooms), PT scripts, "We're just explorers in army gear with automatic weapons aimed at you, why are we being treated as hostile?"...

Just wanted to add to the ongoing 'battle' that this poll is very biaised anyway. Lego has a very successful Star Wars license that has been attracting Lego fans to Star Wars and the opposite way around for more that 10 years. Had Lego also released Star Trek sets it's likely that there would have been more Star Trek fans here to debate the issue.

Anyway to answer the poll question, Star Trek. Given more choices, for me it would be Babylon 5.

Star Wars for the win!!! Star Trek is too wacky and confusing, way too complicated.

I'll bet that's what Trek fans say about Star Wars. Don't get me wrong; I'm a SW fan as well. Just be happy Lucas hasn't decided to insert time travel into SW and retcon the entire saga.

Actually, if you want to get right down to it, you could argue that whenever ships jump to lightspeed they are time traveling because the passage of time on the ship is slower than in realspace. I once read a book which presented a possible explanation for Luke and Leia appearing to be different ages in that Leia spent much more time in hyperspace (being a diplomat and all) than Luke (who's been stuck on Tatooine all his life).

Yeah, I think I read a book like that, too. The Science of Star Wars, or something.

That's the one. If I remember correctly, the same book also said that Jar Jar's head basically made no sense.

That's it.

Not that Jar-Jar makes much sense as a whole.

And not that anything in this book actually applies to Star Wars in-universe.
