Thanks aswell, I definitely am going to get a fair few Gandalf polybags, but if im honest IMO the Sunday polybag is not worth the journey for me anyway.:classic:

Apparently WHSmiths will be selling other Polybags starting this weekend. Brickset have a List of them. I think it's to collide with the promo.

Interesting partnership for Lego - after the furore over The Sun & Page 3, jumping into bed with the bigoted, racist, reactionary Daily Mail is a frying pan > fire situation.

It would take more than a free Gandalf to get me to buy that newspaper ...

Or recycle it, or use it to line your compost bin!

I do miss the Sun promos - 30p for a nice little Lego set and several weeks worth of free bio-degradable bin liners...... My nephew loved the sets and it was a real shame when they stopped it. I'll never understand why there was so much negativity; if you didn't want the paper you didn't have to read it :sceptic:

I don't think that Ebay will be flooded with these sets as before, the higher cost of the paper will limit this in my opinion; there's also a rumour that a limit of 5 will be enforced. I'm going to try and grab a handful of the Gandalf's, but I'll give the car a miss. It will be interesting to see if it continues next week......

How much are the papers each? I will be going shopping with a friend so will try to get 10, I love the torso! and I could use it for many things, Also put a few on Ebay to help fund bricklink purchases

I picked up one Gandalf PolyBag today. It's pretty nice but I'm more pleased that Polybags are being sold now. I bought a galaxy squad PolyBag that I think is awesome.
