Yes, again with New Mannum.....but this time main street is shorter and plans are on the drawing board for bridges and a truck stop/roadhouse.

Yep, the Landmark store received a redesign.....still another road section to go here.

At the pub end of main street will have the bridge and on the other side of said bridge.....a highway turn off with truck stop/roadhouse.

Another reason for the rebirth, money is tight at the moment so scaling back one mega creation allows for the growth of the new Lego City mega design.

Keep watching !

What kind of bridge do you plan on building?

One that can be raised to let boats puss underneath would be cool. :sweet:

Well, it might just be a concrete bridge for the road users and a iron/steel looking one for the railway to travel along.......but a mechanical bridge has always been on the drawing board.....I'll consider it.

Hey! It's really coming together well.

A truck stop sounds like a great idea, I'm looking forward to the photos.

Thanks 'Hey Joe' for the positive vibes there, the truck stop will also be a Cuusoo project (actually it's the promised reboot of the Shell Roadhouse).......this should be started by the end of the month.......keep watching !

The Mitre 10 and IGA are awesome. I've been waiting too see someone try an Aussie town MOC (I live in Australia). It's given me inspiration too try something similar.

Thanks 'LegoBenzine', those two were designed last year.....but due to cash flow problems and so I can build two train layouts I shrank my Aussie town down well to a point......the bridge, turn-off and roadhouse will make up for lost room !

Keep watching !

Footnote - I've clicked over 16000 replies.....that's a lot in 3 and half years !

That bridge is a good choice to do in Lego.

What are those large fence pieces down by the tractor dealership?

The blue wall really works well as a background.

16,000+ posts! They'll need to make (another?) new title for you!

Thanks, Joe

Ah, that blue wall is the wall in my Lego man cave !

Now those fence pieces I got from my supplier.....they are from only a handful of sets......which means $$$$...ouch my wallet goes !

I'm currently working on something to add to the end of the street......I know I said it was done but I thought something sort of new......keep watching !

Love your layout with those smallish art deco style buildings. Looking forward to the bridge!

Since cash flow for the tiger is really bad at the moment......seriously I haven't worked in a week. :cry_sad:

So I have tried my best today to at least 95% complete my latest version of a tractor and equipment dealership......well, perhaps only 90% done.

Hey! I got an idea, maybe you could get some of those businesses or the local business council to sponsor you? You could agree to display it from time-to-time? You could also do some networking for your own business at the same time?

Well, thanks for the suggestion, but it would have happened by now.....most of these companies know of my work and have already commented on or stuck on their Facebook pages or even Twittered by them (Australia Post 2010).

Still a way to go on this end section.....and with things the way they are I'm going to try and do my best to build what I can.......keep watching ! :sadnew:
